"I recommended Dr. Arai to my 30 year old Autistic son for stomach issues and I am so sorry I did. Arai actually said to my son, "I hope you have Crohn's so I can give you medicine?" I had to tell him that my son's paternal grandmother died of complications of Crohn's Disease. My Son then received a very large bill for a necessary procedure. We were not informed prior to the procedure the amount that would be due. We paid what they told us-$300.then 1 month later we receive a bill for $2100.00. If this was the amount my son would have been responsible for, we would not have done the procedure. We spoke to the billing office and they said they would resubmit using the proper codes . The next thing we hear is that the bill went to collections We had called both the office and the doctor's billing office and just kept getting different responses or attitude. We actually had to call the Doctor's assistant line to get someone to give us information with Billing. The assistant did call us back with another phone number for billing. The last we heard we had until December to get this settled. I have never had an experience like this. I myself had used this doctor since 2013. What a disappointment. I personally think there's some sort of scam going on with billing. We also were told to speak to Baptist Hospital because it was their bill. How rich is this? So if the hospital was going to bill my son separately why didn't the doctor's office tell us this when we set up the procedure? No wonder no one called the night before the procedure to let us know what his responsibility would be. Instead, my husband called them to get the info. Now my son is in collections and will be hounded for a bill that no one wanted to help us with."

"Back in year 2015 after my c-section came in with mild abdominal pain and was told that I was ok after 2 hours in the waiting room and that if I wanted to remove my bladder just in case that the he would schedule for surgery. Which was not necessary. I was healthy and young. Very dishonest. All the doctor did was pat my abdomen and speak to me for about 5 minutes. Then they charged the wrong health insurance company which ended and me receiving the complete bill. Good think I had the bill corrected. Then when I was trying to pay the correct bill over the phone that kept hanging up on me and finding excuses collect my payment until I spoke to the office manager. I thankfully did not proceed with the surgery and lesson learned know your body, j is your rights, know you health insurance company and use common sense. Thank God I have all my organs and I am a healthy person. I paid them off. Never again will they see my face."

"Though Dr. Bitman was great, this office does not have the least idea of client/patient service. Calling there is a nightmare, nobody answers the calls, they only rely on voice recordings. I relocated to Central Florida and I have been begging them to send me the Lab test prescriptions by email with no success at all. They encourage you to use the portal, but they do not use it, why my prescription is not uploaded in the portal?. Why don't you send me the prescription by email. You medical offices need to understand that we, the patients have options and if you do not deliver a good patient/client service you will be out of business sooner rather than later."

"I made an appointment and took time off from work, and I was not allowed to see Dr. Sternthal, who I had been seeing for several years. All this is, because I refused to allow them to keep my credit information on file. I was told by the office manager that this is a new policy and that I could not be seen by their office, without allowing them to bill me for additional charges if needed. I gave me concerns, about my experiences with credit card fraud and I contacted my insurance office. My insurance Rep. spoke with the manager and assured her that I only needed to pay my copay(which I had already paid), but I was still was not allow to see the doctor. I was not told about this new policy, when I made the appointment nor when request for confirmation was sent to me. I was refunded my copay and sent on my way, with no concern for my current medical condition."

"This business has good parking and it's easy to get to the office. I was first impressed that the staff was so nice to me even though I was 45 minutes late! I didn't even have to wait long to see the doctor. The office is nicely decorated and comfortable to sit in. Dr. Kirschner is friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this office and this doctor. Also, Elizabeth booked me for a colonoscopy and she was a dream."
