"My friend went into the store today to buy a pair of shoes and was treated badly by the cashiering staff. When she was checking out, the male sales representative looked her right in her face and placed the “next register” sign on the counter without so much of a polite dismissal to the next associate. She felt really disrespected, and as a Vans company, you’d think they’d hold up to their standards in customer service."
"Went to this store to find a pair of shoes that I could wear to work. The first sales associate, Hector, was so helpful and welcomed us in when I was about to walk out because this was my first time shopping here. However, I was on my way to check out, after another male sale associate was done checking out a customer, saw me and placed the “next register” sign in front of me. The other lady went ahead to check me out and she barely looked like she wanted to check me out herself. When I arrived home, she had left the security alarm on my shoe so even if I wanted to return it, it would look as if I had stolen it. I will definitely not be coming back."
