"Yes I arrived 7 minutes late, but it took the check-in desk a long time to get me set up. I don't know why because I did all the pre -appointment registration online before I arrived. They wasted time trying to find the appropriate pharmacy to add to my account which was unnecessary, that could have been done later if the doctor decided to prescribe medicine. Apparently that check-in process took until 11:18 and by that time I was past the grace period and that my appointment had been canceled. I was not told until I got up to the office and sat there for an additional 12 minutes that I was too late for the appointment. I will never go back to HSS West Palm Beach again."

"Terrible. All you need to know about them is look at the same AI word for word answer they give to all their bad reviews. It’s like they think we’re all stupid. This facility is good if you're independently wealthy, money is no object and you enjoy ordering off of no price menus. I wanted a second opinion re a knee replacement. I made an appointment at this In Network Facility with an In Network Doctor to seek to get a second opinion for confirmation of knee replacement At HSS. I had one appointment to overview simple knee X-rays. A second appointment to meet the surgeon. Fast forward 4 weeks, I get a bill for $800. I had an appointment with a In network facility in a In network doctor. How in the world can I have been sent an additional invoice for $800. I paid my copays and my health insurance pays the agreed to costs for services. Sure I need to cover my deductible but who knew the services I received, described above, would be covering unreasonable additional costs, at over $800 and I’m insured at this participating facility! 10/6/23 I leave a voicemail for the office to understand. No call back. 10/9/23 I send a Fed Ex letter to the office. In this letter I specifically asked if we could work to reduce the $800 and that I was now concerned for the price of the surgery. So I requested, in writing, a Personal and Specific Estimated Cost for my upcoming knee replacement. Which is covered by FL Statute. My Fed Ex letter was signed with confirmation of delivery and yet no communication from the office. No response is against the FL statutes. 10/19 I call and was placed on a long hold, but I really needed to speak with an Office Mgr to find out what the heck is going on. She tells me that there's lots of conflicting communication within HSS, and to please e-mail her my questions. 10/20 I send the e-mail request. 10/24 a forwarded email was sent to me with zero answers to my personal request for cost of surgery and then an offer to place me in a payment plan to pay the $800 balance. I don't need a payment plan. That’s not the freaking point. HSS should be charging fair and reasonable prices as an In Network provider and In Network facility. HSS is like going to a restaurant with a no price menu and ordering a grilled chicken caesar salad and getting a bill from the waiter for $800. Final answer - HSS, no prices published anywhere for typical and normal services rendered, that’s a violation of FL Statutes, which affords them the privilege and economic gauging opportunity of setting their own prices at their own discretion. And their excuse? "You need to cover your deductible” Or “we can place you on a payment plan". HSS is an elite, arrogant set of health care operators who know how to take the greatest doctors known in their field and weaponize them against an innocent public that just wants to pay for honest services, under an honest health care system, which apparently no longer exists in this country."

"I had rotator cuff and bicep repair surgery. It is difficult to express how wonderful it was to deal with HSS. I have had the same surgery done on my other shoulder so I was very apprehensive due to the recovery process. I was so pleased with the way the entire process was handled. The facility is wonderful, new, clean, state of the art. The pre-op nurses (Tiara and Evelyn) were attentive and made me feel very comfortable. The surgery with Dr. Simovitch was so smooth and easy. My pain levels after the procedure were minimal. The post op nurse (Lara) was wonderful and helped my wife and I prepare for my release. HSS, , Dr. Simovitch and the entire staff are fantastic. I highly recommend HSS."

"I'm getting a knee replacement the end of November, my knee is a real mess. the surgeon, Dr. Summers, (great guy) very intelligently sent me for prehab. The physical therapist, Meghan Brady, is outstanding. Way better than physical therapists I've had in the past. My leg is in better shape and more muscular than it has been in decades!!! Saying she is very knowledgeable and motivating is an understatement. I will be as ready for the surgery as possible. Everyone at HSS Florida has a great attitude!!!!"

"As a local Sports medicine Orthopedic surgeon I know what good care is. My experience with HSS was better than outstanding. I tore my rotator cuff and was seen and operated on my colleague Dr. Stucken. The ambulatory surgery center was top notch. The nursing and anesthesia staff made my wife and I feel comfortable and well taken care of. Surgery itself went great and now I am 6 weeks postop. I’m am participating in physical therapy at HSS with therapists George and Olga helping me get better and stronger every day. HSS sets the bar in Orthopedics."
