At the Breast Center of Naples, we offer the SmartCurve system for mammograms, which provides a more comfortable experience without compromising image quality. This system has been clinically proven to improve comfort for patients, with 93% reporting less discomfort during their mammogram.
In addition to screening mammograms, we also offer screening breast ultrasounds for women with dense breast tissue, as well as bone density tests (DEXA) to measure bone loss. Our certified technologists are skilled in performing diagnostic exams for patients with breast symptoms or abnormalities detected during screening.
Women with dense breast tissue are offered screening breast ultrasounds in addition to mammograms to aid in the early detection of breast cancer. Our team also performs ultrasound-guided procedures such as cyst aspiration and image-guided localizations.
We recommend yearly screening mammograms for women over 40, as recommended by the American College of Radiology. Most insurance companies, including Medicare, cover the cost of annual mammograms for women over 40 as part of their wellness program.
From check-in to check-out, our process takes approximately 15-30 minutes, ensuring a quick and efficient experience for our patients. You do not need a doctor's order to schedule your yearly screening mammogram, and women in Florida aged 40 or older can schedule their mammogram without an order.

Once you are called out of the beautiful public waiting room, you are taken to a room just as lovely and calming in which to get changed and wait. There is bottled water here, which was a nice surprise. Even the changing rooms are beautiful and very private. You're given a reusable bag in which to keep your belongings rather than having to put them in a locker, and you're encouraged to take it with you. Based on this experience, I will no longer delay my mammogram screenings!"

"Truly a beautiful setting for 'taking care of you' or healing. I'm a recent transplant to Naples FL from CT and finding new practitioners is somewhat of a challenge.
