"UPDATE 2/9/24: shortly after posting this review, I heard from Tom at the company. He seems very committed to making things right. He filled me in where I had been previously left with missing information / updates from my sales person (the one that previously did not keep me in the loop). AquaDoc has been working on the missing permit items since 12/8, but this was unknown to me until just now. I feel satisfied that AquaDoc is providing the county with the required information, and wish I had been looped in when I asked earlier (1/10 and 1/29). I’ve been promised that my pool project will be a priority, and I trust that will be the case. If things are smooth through the rest of my project, I will revise this review to reflect the accountability and workmanship from this point forward. It is my hope that the issues I experienced so far were just from a team member that didn’t have their eyes on the big picture of keeping the client informed. Fingers crossed that things are positive from here on out! ***ORIGINAL REVIEW:Already regretting agreeing to do business with them. I searched around and tried to find a good pool installer in the area. Apparently there isn’t one. I hesitantly signed with AquaDoc and already have problems. The permit process started in mid October. By December 8 the county notified AquaDoc that the permit application needed two items. I was not aware of this until today (2/8/24). On 1/10/24 I emailed my sales guy and asked about status of the permit. He said he would check the next day. Don’t hear back from him. 1/29/24 I texted him and asked about permit status. He didn’t answer that question, but answered my other questions. On 2/8/24 I emailed again and asked about permit status. Was told to call the AquaDoc office since they have that info. Instead, I called Charlotte county on 2/9/24 when they opened and that’s when they told me they’ve been waiting since 12/8/23 on AquaDoc and haven’t heard from them. My project is now two months behind where we could have been. I tried to get them to stay on top of the permit process but they failed. I can only imagine that the rest of this project will be a nightmare, unless they take this to heart and take their job seriously. The amount of money you spend on a pool, you would think you would get better attention and follow through on something as important as the permit. I had started to feel very nervous when the sales person couldn’t get the required documents to the lender. The lender came to me several times to say they still don’t have the right documents. I was stuck in the middle and it was painful trying to get the lender what they needed. It shouldn’t have been that difficult. But I gave the benefit of the doubt. Until I learned about their complete dropping of the ball with the permit. I feel very uneasy doing business with them moving forward, if this is how they handle just the permit process. I’m so sick about this right now. They need to do some serious soul searching and determine if their head is really in the game of keeping their clients satisfied. This was such a simple thing they overlooked on the permit, yet they completely ignored it. So incredibly disappointed with them right now!!"

"Aqua Doc's is really a very good company to deal with. It is really important when you contract with a pool installer that stands by the work they do. Aqua Doc's completed the installation of our pool about 10 months ago. We found this company to keep their promises and the quality of their work to be extremely good. This pool company go's above and beyond when it comes to taking care of their customers after the work is completed. The salt unit on our pool stopped working last week. I called Marsha the representative I worked with when our pool was installed. She said she would send a technician out the next day Friday or at the next day Monday to look at the problem. I was shocked when the knock at my door came in the afternoon on the next day, Friday. John their main trouble shooter showed up and in short time found that the salt unit had stopped working. Most companies would tell you it was a warranty issue, and to contact the manufacturer, and most companies would not have a replacement unit on their truck. This was not the case with Aqua Doc's. John replaced the defective salt unit with a new one and was gone in 15 minutes, with no charge. I was impressed with John's abilities and knowledge. He knew exactly what he had to do. Marsha has always been extremely helpful during and after our pool was installed. In this day of take your money and run companies and failed promises, and no return calls it is a pleasure to deal with a well-run company like Aqua Doc's"

"I had Aqua Doc refinish and repair tiles on my gunite pool. From the beginning the salesman explained every detail of the process. From there I met Matt the supervisor for the repairs and then the crew. Matt checked on the crew daily and with me to be sure I was satisfied with the work. The crew was courteous and kept the area clean. The work done was exactly as described. When the work was completed, and the pool was refilled with water, Aqua Doc continued to send the maintenance crew for a week to check the condition of the pool and add chemicals. The difference between the old and the new is amazing, see photos. Rebecca and the office staff continuously called to check in and be sure that I was satisfied with the work being done.
