"I had a couple of appointments here for a deep foot wound. The staff was friendly, and knowledgeable. The facility is an older and unrenovated part of Englewood Hospital. So, a bit dated."

"My husband was referred to this clinic after a fall in which he sustained a hematoma on his back/shoulder. What a surprise to find that our copay was $295.00 !!!!! and the NP did absolutely nothing other than look at it. She wanted him to follow up again, but at that price we decided to take our chances because she said it could take up to a year for the blood to be re-absorbed. It did resolve within a few weeks---the skin was never broken, so it did not require any dressing, etc. What is the total cost for a visit when you factor in what Medicare pays???? No wonder she wanted him to follow up."

"Save yourself…. Stay away! Spent three months seeing them weekly. Your appointments will be OVER two hours long. Most of the time you will be left in the room alone listing to the dr and nurses talk. One nurse caused tunneling by sticking a large q-tip through fresh skin. Doctor was so upset by what she did. I got MRSA. Took over two weeks before they gave me an antibiotic. Got MRSA AGAIN!!! Wound care center waited over a week before antibiotics were prescribed setting back my healing over a month. Got MRSA again (or never went away- they never cultured to find out) and told to wait a week for antibiotics. Went to primary dr and she prescribed antibiotics immediately. Rule of thumb is to treat MERSA Immediately, culture wound, prescribe antibiotic before culture comes back. Home healthcare would contact office and tell them my wound looked suspicious of infection and wound care center wound do nothing. I walked out of appointment yesterday after waiting over an hour and a half. Switching to Venice Wound Care because I hear amazing reviews. Save yourself….. stay away!!!!!"

"My 82 year old mother went there with a hematoma on her right leg. She is a healthy person that is on no medication and had no pre-existing conditions. She does have a severe hearing loss which makes communication difficult. The doctors immediately cut open the wound and dug flesh almost to the bone. Within two weeks she had developed MRSA. I live in Pennsylvania. I FaceTimed her for the follow up appointment. They had no test results or cultures. I had to demand they get the results of the last culture taken by home health care before they touched the wound. The second follow up they refused to let me be on FaceTime or on a call. I Immediately had my mother leave and we are now searching for options. HORRIFIC care. Wouldn’t send an animal there."

"I am visiting the Englewood area for two months. Prior to traveling I had surgery on my right foot to amputate toes and debride a deep wound on my heel. My podiatric surgeon back home asked that I follow with a doctor in the Englewood area weekly. This clinic has been wonderful. The administrative folks are lovely and efficient. The nursing staff are kind and the doctor takes time to learn about your experiences and expectations. I highly recommend this clinic."
