"I was referred to Planned Parenthood by my insurance. Firstly, be aware there are pro-life protesters hanging around outside harassing patients or anyone who goes in/out of the building. These people are annoying & ignorant, definitely NOT Christians. Something needs to be done to stop their harassment! I was there for a much-needed biopsy, which went very well. At my request, I was medicated since from experience it's very painful (something an idiot primary care doctor did on me crudely without medication - he clearly had no business doing this. I left him due to his neglect & reported him). The nurses & assistants were wonderful while I waited & even waited outside with me for my ride for my safety. However, I honestly didn't like that they didn't call nor explain to me any lab results. Eventually, I was instructed to go to a gynecologist elsewhere. The nurse who did my pap smear was incompetent. My experience was a mix of good & bad. I'd go back if I have nowhere else to go to. BUT THOSE PROTESTERS NEED TO BE BANNED. I even explained to one I was there for a biopsy. She gave me a sermon assuming I was there for an abortion. When I had to go in, she was shocked. I have only Medicaid & I'm diagnosed with various conditions. I'm not on disability but can't work. It's places like Planned Parenthood that allows me to get the much needed help I wouldn't get otherwise."
