"Good location, easy to check in and the doctor did a great job explaining everything. Would recommend this place and Dr. Helperin."

"This could have been a 5 star review if not for the receptionist I had. There might be other receptionists who are great, but mine wasn’t. She was condescending and evidently does not want any clients to ask any appropriate questions (such as “is there a patient portal?”) Other than that, it was good. Dr Wiernik seemed a little rushed but he was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The x-ray tech was nice and efficient."

"Bryan L Reuss MD lacks customer service skills. He was rude and rushed out the office. My first impression of him was that he didn’t care about my time. The second encounter was worse than the first one. He pressed my knee with his fingers and was very rude. He needs to take a class on how to treat people. One should feel comfortable with their doctor and he made me feel like he didn’t care about me getting better. He also diagnosed me with a fractured knee and a partially torn tendon. I received a second opinion and they told me that all I have is a bruised knee. I spent thousands of dollars in care. If he would of diagnosed me correctly the first time, then I would of not have written this review."

"UPDATE - Spoke to the Cathy (Branch Manager), who advised she had a training/coaching session with the receptionist on how to better answer insurance questions. Cathy was very professional and acknowledged where the receptionist had fallen short. I appreciate her investing the time in her employees so that other patients don't have to experience the same billing shock. Besides that, my husband had a good sessions with the physical therapist(s), and said he would go back to this location in the future. My husband had physical therapy here for about 6 weeks. The sessions were fine, and the team was friendly. My main complaint is that the front desk receptionist needs to be trained on how to handle insurance information and questions. When the first of the year came around, I showed her our insurance, and specifically asked her what the charges were going to be for these visits going forward since we hadn't hit our deductible yet. She "looked it up" and told us the fee per visit would be $65, I clarified asking if that was the only charge we would have, and she told us "yes". A few months later we received a bill in the mail for all visits because $65 was not the true amount, it was only partial. I called billing twice, and they just kept stating that the $65 is the initial charge before they send to insurance, which then gets processed and determined what the real charge is. If that was all explained in the beginning, we would have committed to fewer sessions knowing that the visits were going to be more expensive. I don't think the receptionist deliberately lied to us, but the employee clearly needs some additional training to properly give patients accurate information."
