"this place is a joke. im only 17 who has been through hell and back with this place. the doctor lies all the time and says my medication is sent to the pharmacy but its always a lie and we have to keep calling over and over until it finally is. i’ve had to go weeks without my medication before with serious withdrawal symptoms. doctor joseph gravil doesn’t deserve to be a psychiatrist. you’re playing with peoples lives and kids. you could face a serious lawsuit and lose your medical license. just with this, you can lose your medical license"

"Awful awful place. My significant other is a so called patient here and has been dragged though hell and back with this place and the so called doctor. Dr. Joseph is consistently late to appointments, more than an hour every time, and when he does finally call he only talks for less than five minutes. This “doctor” is supposed to be a psychiatrist and help those with anxiety, depression, etc. but he can’t even be bothered to listen to concerns about the medications he’s prescribing. One would think that being in this particular specialty, Dr. Joseph would have more empathy with how anxiety inducing waiting around for a phone call can be, especially for 90 minutes after the scheduled time. His assistant is harsh on the phone and has supposedly pushed medications (psychiatric meds, that CANNOT be stopped abruptly without harsh side effects) to the pharmacy, but when we call to see if they’re ready for pick up they are still waiting for prescriber approval. This place is a joke. They hold you hostage with the medications and force you to make appointments to get them refilled - my partners meds have ZERO REFILLS on them. Medications that have been prescribed to my partner for years. So here I am, writing this review while my partner is in agony dealing with side effects of not having necessary medications. Shame on you Dr. Joseph. Do better. UPDATE: John has been super helpful and kind during all this confusion. He is the only person at this office who has shown any care and compassion towards us."

"Where do we start? We were connected with this center by the GA clinic for my son. The clinic there confirmed everything for insurance and that we would get therapy and psychiatric care. HA!! We had therapy once and that was only for a few short minutes. The visit with Dr. Joseph was a long one and we thought he would be a good fit but by the second visit we had for a emergency he was very rude and disrespectful to my son and very adamant that he was dead and just a shell that would never be right. We had one more visit with them before I said we were done. Between the incompetent staff that cant send over rx with the correct birthdates and all to the long waits. We waited over a hour for the doctor and no-one was even in the office. We ended up having to cancel while sitting there because it was after 5 pm and we had a appt at 6pm across the county. They tell you they accept your insurance to get you in the door and then tell you after the visit they no longer take it for some reason or another and that they will work a payment for you. I have been back and forth with them and my insurance and still have yet to get my refund. I will be disputing it with my bank. Don't make the of saying you are looking for another place, you will be discharged on the spot. If you need a script you best be prepared to pay what he want's or the child can do with out. If you can avoid this place more then you would avoid Covid!!!!! Plus Everyone and their brother can hear what is being said while in the office."

"Appear to be a good center, but do not care about their patients once you start working with them. Once you get a therapist expect them to change you without notice. I had a great therapist named Jeff before and without knowledge I was directed to a new therapist named Holly, Talked to her twice and was directed to another therapist, who I found out is to deal with substance abuse. Her name is Jackie. Problem is I never abused pain medications following the four surgeries I had do to my rare bone disease. And I still have the rare bone diseases and its life long. Thing is I don't have a substance abuse abuse problem. But it is easy to assume to get rid of patients from the one on one. My real problems are being ignored because they would rather get new patients than great service. Guess it is the price of insurance. This Center which started as a 5 has gone to 2. Don't believe the sincerity they exude. Don't trust the appointments you make because they don't make them. Just don't trust them if you have conditions which are not easily resolved. DON'T EXPECT THEM TO UNDERSTAND. Dr. Joseph Gravil is the doctor and he does not care nor do his therapists."
