"I had a wide local excision done on January 17th by Dr. MacNeal. Dr. MacNeal and the medical assistant who helped during my procedure were both great. The reason for my poor review is because of how my post-op concerns were addressed. I was told at check out that if I began to experience any issues with healing to call immediately. Over the weekend, I began to notice signs of a post op infection and called first thing Monday morning. I left a total of 3 voicemails for the medical assistant/nursing staff station when these symptoms appeared. When the staff failed to return my (multiple) voicemails, I called the front desk and explained my situation hoping I could get worked in for an evaluation. I was told that they could schedule me for a “wound check” in 1 week. I expressed my concerns to the front desk employee about waiting a week with a potential infection and these concerns were dismissed. After continuing to call multiple times throughout the week, I finally spoke to one of the mohs surgery schedulers who was the only one to understand the urgency of needing to be seen. She was able to get me scheduled for the following day. It took a total of 5 minutes from check in to check out to be seen by Dr. MacNeal who said it was infected and prescribed me antibiotics for treatment. Over the course of a week I still never had my phone calls returned from the nursing/MA staff. I expressed my concerns to the nurse who checked me in for my “wound check” visit and she empathized with me and apologized profusely. She told me that I should have been transferred directly to a member of the nursing staff for further advisement and/or the provider on call. She assured me that she had informed the office manager of the way my situation was handled, but still no one has reached out. Infections happen and I am not upset at all about my surgical site becoming infected. I am however upset about the way the situation was handled. Infections can be serious for patients with certain medical conditions and I am thankful that I was not one of those patients. No one should have to wait a week to have their post-op concerns addressed, especially if infection is suspected. If you are not able to fit in a patient to have these concerns addressed, they should at least be advised by a member of the clinical staff to go to an urgent care or ER to have the site evaluated for infection. I hope that the office policies/procedures can be improved to prevent poor patient outcomes in the future. I think that internal staff training is a necessity as well."

"Scheduling an appointment was easy. Capability to have all the paper work mailed to me to fill out and mail back was clever. Day of appointment was nothing short of a positive experience from start to finish. Checked in 10min before appointment, didn’t have to fill anything out, and was called in the back for prep within 5 min of checking in. From the front desk to the medical professionals in the back, the staff are phenomenal. Dr. Mac Neal and Tanisha did a phenomenal job! The procedure was painless. Very happy with this facility and the people."

"I just had a Mohs procedure performed by Dr. Robert MacNeal for a basal cell carcinoma on my face, and I want everyone to know that he is an excellent doctor and did an amazing job. My anxiety was through the roof leading up to this procedure and after meeting him I knew immediately I was in good hands. If I could give him and his staff 20 stars I would. Dr. MacNeal is not only a top notch doctor but a great, personable human being. He listened to me, answered my questions, and just made me feel better all the way around. My scar (on my face) is healing up better than I could have imagined and I can tell it will disappear in time. I just can't say enough. So, if you're googling yourself to death reviewing doctors and Mohs procedure outcomes, trust me...go to Dr. MacNeal."

"Six months ago I had laser surgery on my face. I ask BRITTANY STRECH will it leave a scar/mark on my face, she replied no. She informed me, that she had seen a patient, with the same skin complications as myself and it had healed just fine, within a few weeks. I wish I could say the same. I've been walking around with a dime size scar on my face for 6 months. I've bought over $100 dollars worth of product to try and solve the matter myself because I didn't want to go back and see her because I was so discussed with her! I could say more but I'm not. Just stay away from BRITTANY STRECH!!! I finally went back to go see DR. WELCH. He informed, me that it could possibly take a year or two to heal, then prescribed me with some cream. He was very professional and honest."

"Mark Brown is a great doctor. He was nice and very knowledgeable. The problem is the receptionist. There were always two people I dealt with. The young lady was always super sweet and helpful. The other receptionist (probably late 40s) is always so rude. She acted as if checking someone in or scheduling another appointment was such a hassle. Hardly ever looked up from her computer when talking to you. This wasn’t a one time thing. She’s consistently rude."
