Gili's Beach Club

"Management service is poor. We went to Gili’s for lunch. Three out of our five meals were served within a reasonable time. The other 2 meals (which were for my kids) took an additional 15-20 minutes. By the time the other 2 meals got to our table, the first 3 were cold. They clearly messed something up because other tables that sat down after us were served before us. It was the same food one of my kids ordered. At the end of the meal, I asked to speak with a manager. It took over 15 minutes for a manager to come over. This made it obvious that Gilli’s managerial staff does not make service a priority. To add insult to injury, the manager I spoke with, Andy Castillo, had an attitude and acted as if there was nothing wrong with the poor service. I do have to say that the waiters were friendly and polite which is why I gave 2 stars rather than 1. My advice is to not waste your time and money going to Gilli’s. There are so many better places in Sunny Isles."

"Service is slow. Food is overpriced. They need to step it up. It fluctuates and it could be a great place. It was after 4 so we had to order from the limited menu. They served the tuna in a small plastic take out container with a bag of chips for $18."

"Really good food! We had short rib quesadillas, chicken quesadillas and a Cheeseburger. We also got a pitcher of rum punch which was really strong but delicious. Very good experience here. Unbeatable atmosphere right on the beach."

"I would say this was the BEST food place we ate at on our entire trip. I loved the coconuts with coconut water in them. The trump signature burger was the best and our kids loved the fruit basket. You can get service by the pool or the beach. Highly recommend!!!"
