"I have been dying to go Phat Boy Sushi for a while, and when I found out there was one in Davie (closer to me), I was excited to go. When my friends and I walked into Phat Boy Sushi, I loved the chic and neon ambiance of the restaurant; it feels like a modern New York cafe ambiance. Our server was extremely helpful and nice; he helped us navigate through the menu, and gave some great suggestions. We came right in time for their Happy Hour, and we were thrilled at their drink specials. We ordered the spicy margarita, espresso martini, and lychee martini. These drinks were great! They were flavorful, had the perfect balance of alcohol and sweetness, and appealing to the eye. We then ordered their pork gyoza and crab rangoon dip. The rangoon dip was amazing! The dish came with wonton chips that paired well with the dip which had a lot of crab meat. We ordered the combo fried rice, kani su roll, Miso Ramen, and Crunchy Tuna Roll for our entrees. Omg everything was amazing. The sushi rolls were thick and had a lot of pieces. The fried rice was packed with flavor with chicken, steak and shrimp. The miso ramen had loads of shirataki noodles and shrimp which paired well with the miso broth. I can’t wait to come back to Phat Boy sushi very soon to try more of their menu options."
"Good sushi! Generous portions of fish for the price. The crab Rangoon dip wasn’t that great but still okay. All of the fish on the other hand was delicious. The Dragon roll and salmon roll were my favorite. I’m glad we were able to find a place in Florida with good sushi. Looking forward to returning soon."
"At first glance of the menu, everything looked pricey. But, when I got my Poke Bowl, it made sense. The bowl was full of fresh sushi and so big that, after a couple of appetizers, I couldn't finish it. I don't recommend the crispy bok choy. It was bland, saggy, and oily. They have outdoor seating with fans, and the inside is nicely decorated. The waiter recommended the spicy miso over the regular miso soup, but it was too spicy for me. Luckily, he kindly changed it for a regular one. I recommend this place."
