Taco Shop Hialeah

"I recently visited this place and got a great service, so I decided to recommend it to some coworkers. The day I went, I asked to substitute the 3 corn tortillas of the tacos de birria for flour tortillas, which was not a problem. Today, I decided to go again with my wife . She ordered the taco chimichanga platter and I asked again for the tacos de birria on flour tortillas. Only this time, there was a blonde lady listening and whispered something to the girl. Immediately, the girl told me” we can’t do that “. I told her that I had ordered that 2 days ago, and the blonde lady interrupted saying that it couldn’t be done and that I should eat the corn tortillas. I told her that I didn’t like corn and she asked the cook and he seemed to say yes, so I proceeded to pay thinking that they were going to do it. When we sat, the girl came with my wife’s order and didn’t say anything, so I waited a while . In the meantime, I see a big roach crawling on the floor from table to table, so I got up and asked the girl, was my order done or what?,and she said:”no, she said that it couldn’t be done”. So I said: “the last time you took my order and there was no problem “, she said:”yes, but she wasn’t here”I said:“ok, by the way, there’s a big roach under that table” . I went back to the table and told my wife that they didn’t make my tacos, but she could eat because I wasn’t really hungry. She told me that she wasn’t going to eat either. So we left, but after getting to my car, I felt like I had to say something. So I went to the blonde lady and told her that it was ridiculous that they couldn’t substitute the tortillas and that we have dealt with customers for more than 30 years, and ultimately, you have to make customers happy so they keep coming back,especially a mom and pop business. She kept saying there’s nothing I can do and never made an attempt to be polite. I told the other girl, “I’m sorry that you have to deal with this unpleasant and unprofessional person, but I will not be back, and by the way, the roach incident, which I had decided to keep quiet, it’s going to be known now”. We feel like we were robbed and mistreated, so we threw away my wife’s order and left."

"Came for Cinco de Mayo night... it was a very pleasant surprise! Food is absolutely delicious as well as margaritas. Staff is super friendly and energetic, parking in the back, great music. We'll definitely come back for more!"

"Post ride appetite took us here. Nice place to satisfy your taco craving. Quite a bit of seating, looked clean, friendly staff, great artwork and feasible parking. It’s a little pricey but the food is worth it! Good size portions and the corn tortillas….wow! Definitely try them out!"

"Small place but quality of food is great. I'm a first timer to this place and I've passed by it a couple of times and finally decided to give it a try. I ordered the Cali fries and they came in a hefty amount and they were satisfying. Im A major foodie and food is fair for the price . Love it and Definitely will come back to try more food out from the menu!"

"First time here. Looks Authentic but the Guacamole leaves much to be desired. Tacos came out quick and the service was good. The Guacamole just has no taste or body... similar to Wholly Guacamole, the non homemade kind. The Salsa Bar was better, with a range of mild to spicy. Their Al Pastor Tacos are great though!"
