"Just went to pick up my dad, so I can not say much about this hospital. Although he did not have great things to say about it. A couple of complaints from him- -There are no showers in the rooms... he was there for 3 days and was unable to take a shower/was not washed in any way. -He ended up peeing on himself because no one came to help him to the bathroom, even though he asked for help multiple times. The food was terrible (but what hospital has good food though?) -He said his Dr (I do not have a name) was not friendly in any way. She was short, condescending, and apparently was angry at whoever didn't have all of his discharge paperwork ready, and wrote in his chart, "I dont have time for this. My time is extremely valuable." Which she then showed to him.. I find that very unprofessional and shows lack of any bedside manner. -He did say the majority of his nurses were wonderful, and he was very thankful for them! We all know the nurses are the real MVPs."

"The doctors were very good and the nurses sort of OK. Some were very good others terrible. Called for pain meds at 4am didn't get them till 9am. Waited 2 hours to use the bathroom. I have a broken disc so very painful. Will not come here again for my surgery."

"My mom had a nephrectomy here and everything went great. The initial hospital pre-op with Natalie was so informative and helpful- the nurses also at pre op were so sweet and helpful. Natalie visited my mom several times after the surgery, too. The surgeon was excellent and we had communication the whole time after surgery. The nurses station was easy to get a hold of and were always helpful whenever we called. My mom said the nurses and CNAs (except one) were all very wonderful. When I picked her up, the guy who brought her down in the wheelchair was so friendly and you can tell he cared about the patients. My mom said Steven (RN) in observation was encouraging and she greatly appreciated him. I was initially worried about this hospital due to previous poor reviews but it all went very well. Thank you all so much for caring and taking care of my mom!"

"I had an exceptional experience with Dr. Yong Lee during my visit to the Emergency Department at NCH Downtown Naples. Dr. Lee’s expertise and compassionate care were evident from the moment I arrived. His thoroughness in assessing my situation and explaining the diagnosis and treatment plan were incredibly reassuring. Dr. Lee’s professionalism and attentiveness stood out. He took the time to listen to my concerns, answering all my questions patiently and ensuring I understood every aspect of my care. His approach was not only highly knowledgeable but also empathetic, which made a considerable difference during a stressful time. The entire experience under Dr. Lee’s care was exceptional. His dedication to providing top-notch medical care while maintaining a warm and comforting bedside manner truly sets a standard for excellence."

"The emergency room during the day was slow but the woman checking you in was friendly and I appreciated that.. the hospital looks nice once your moved from the shared nightmare rooms..which there was a sad man in his 90s who obviously had more than physical issues..he would soil himself and lay there screaming for help, if it wasn't so pitiful it would had been more horrifying.. when the so called nurse's came in they would scold him, tell him they were going to leave him that way..and still wait more then 30 minutes each time to change him..I was mortified..in areas others would consider poor in the United States that I've received care... there worse was even better than here.. the care was subpar to say the least.. the staff ignored or said they would come in and then be hours to show up..if not having another with me who advocated for me " thank God" I would had checked myself out and preferred to take my risk of dying over the care that you receive here... Stayed in here for 8 days and only because surgery was required and then sent to a nice private room where you still had no care.. had critical issues occur, had no pain relief though 2 "6 inch cuts from spine surgery weeping from infection and every move made felt like the worse pain, no empathy, shots that were to be done, not received but the " nurse " would swear it had been..again if not for another who documented this, it would had been my word against there's and the way some of the nurses acted you would think they had received medication... But because I am now 3 months past this nightmare.. and reaching out to the hospital, to the so called patient advocates is a joke I'll end my words with only this .. I will never subject myself to this place again.. and I would recommend unless your the 1 % who must have connections or got lucky..I would suggest you think twice if you can avoid this hospital..and also keep in mind with or without insurance it is a terrible, expensive joke that I believe more than just myself would agree is not a hospital but a place to go if your hoping to get worse.."
