"Call center says they do blood work in house. My insurance covers it more cheaply if I do it as part of the visit. I was assured they do. Got there and found out they stopped months ago. So now I'm still waiting Added now, went for my appointment this morning to be told they don't actually have a doctor available to see me, for my scheduled appointment"

"It is SAD, that I am taking more of my time, to write a bad review about First Harbour! This office has VERY HIGH turnover in staff, and have had seven (7) different doctors and nurses in 3 Years! I am FINALLY leaving this place (long over due)! They almost NEVER answer the phone, in which 4 out of 5 times, I have to drive over to the office, to change an appointment, or get prescriptions filled! My opinion is, that within a year of posting this review, this office/location 712 53RD Ave E, Bradenton, FL 34203 will be CLOSED!"

"AVOID at all costs. No formal website. Staff seem ok but doctor said some pretty inappropriate things to my wife during new patient appointment (including joking about being pregnant). Was told they accepted our insurance only to receive a giant bill. Turns out the doctor hadnt been accepted by our insurance yet. Corporate NeighborMD billing team just say "we'll call you back after "investigating" the matter", but now have had that said three times without a call back. The team at the actual branch say they'll get the manager to call but never do, or pretend they cant help. Meanwhile I have a formal debt hanging over me."

"Receptionist was uninviting. No greeting. Understand she was on the phone at first. But once the call ended, she continued on about her day. Didn’t say, I’ll be with you shortly once I finish typing my notes. I mean nothing. During that time, another woman in regular clothes, no lab coat walked by 3-4 times. Saw myself and an elderly woman standing at the desk for more than 10 minutes. Said nothing. Did nothing. PA had no recommendations of her own for my situation. I asked for her opinion on things she would recommend I do to also help improve my situation, other than what I’m already doing (specific diet, exercise). Appeared uninterested, unconcerned and ready to pass the buck! The entire vibe was weird with this office. If I could give 0 stars I would. Won’t get another insurance payment out of me. PS: staff should be more quiet when gossiping about patients. I got an earful. Not the type of environment I need to be affiliated with. “HIPPA” I’ll go back for the lab results but honestly feel I shouldn’t have to. Those can be imported to the patient portal for me to review. Why should my insurance pay for another visit just for results, hmm.?"

"I was looking for a new doctors office, i checked reviews and found many doctors with terrible reviews. Most complaints seemed to be more staff related than the doctor. I was referred to Dr Lopez by a friend, I was pleasantly surprised, office was clean and professional, staff quick to great me and get me ready for appointment. I was taken in at my appointment time, quick process with blood pressure and history review. Dr Lopez arrived soon after, had a great exam, he took a lot of time with me explaining everything in detail. Reviewed my medications and explained what they were for and how they worked. He listened to my concerns and provided one of the best medical exams I have had. Never before, in the history of medical care, has there been such an abundant opportunity , as there is today, for a Doctor that is willing to spend time with a patient before trying to collect his fee. I recommend Dr Lopez! Give him a try, you wont be disappointed!! Tell him “RG” sent you in. WOW! I have been using this office for a short time and am very impressed! I was having a bit of trouble with with a prescription, the pharmacy was giving me different information then the Doctors office. I called in right before closing, explained what was happening and I was told by the receptionist that she would forward the information to the nurse on duty first thing in the morning. I received a call back from DEBRA, she reviewed my file, answered all of the questions I had, provided me with a professional, understanding of what was happening and put me at ease. I sincerely appreciate her taking the time to make sure I understood all of my options. EAST-WEST-SHE IS THE BEST!"
