"Sunday lunch after church with my wife, daughter and two grandkids. Several people had recommended Delcos for the cheesesteak subs. This place was busy! My wife grabbed the last open table while I ordered and kids got drinks. Two cheesesteaks with grilled onions, hot peppers, mayo, lettuce and tomatoes, cut in half. Plus a mini cheesesteak with just mayo for granddaughter. Lastly an order of onion rings and fries to share. You order and pay then the food is brought to your table. A lot of people apparently order for carry out. We must have seen a dozen people get to go orders while waiting on our food. I was forewarned they only take cash so came prepared. While ordering, the smell and sizzle of mounds of cooking beef & onions took us back to sub shops in Baltimore! Mmmmm. Our food came shortly, followed by fries and onion rings. Everything was hot and delicious. The meat was wonderful and rolls soft and fresh. The only drawback was not many hot peppers but we asked and were brought extra peppers. Fries were just ok, hot but could have been crispier. Onion rings were super hot and delicious. We all loved the subs. Even half a sub was plenty with the sides. Best of all at about $50, it was half the cost of most other lunch places, which made my wallet happy too. If you’re looking to jog your memories of the NE sub shops, check it out."
"Stumbled upon this institution. Awesome Phillies atmosphere. Loved it. We strayed from the favorite and had a meatball parmigiana and chicken parmigiana. Ok, but not what they’re known for. Next time."
