Another Broken Egg Cafe

"Food - Ordered a 1/2 Order of Biscuit Beignets, Sunrise Spinach Scrambler, and the Lemon Poundcake French Toast. Also, started with a good cup of coffee. Beignets were very good and didn't even get to finish them before our main course was ready. The scrambler was very good. Good combination of fresh spinach with earthy mushrooms and a creamy goat cheese to balance it out. The French Toast was excellent! Highly recommend! Waiter suggested to try it first before adding syrup and I am glad he did. A bite with the dense lemon pound cake, fresh fruit and creamy whipped cream was a perfectly balanced bite. When eaten with the syrup, the great flavor of the lemon pound cake French Toast was drowned out with the sweet syrup. The scrambled eggs were ok. The House-Made Sweet & Savory Sausage was possibly the best breakfast sausage I have ever had (coming from an Iowa farm boy that has eaten his share of breakfast sausage)! I can tell that it was made in house with a great balance of sage and seasoning and a little sweetness. Service - Our waiter was very helpful and top notch. Kept our coffee and water full and was regularly checking in to make sure everything was good. Ambiance - Very clean and bright! Great place to enjoy breakfast or lunch. There were many excellent entrées on the menu that looked amazing so we may be back if our appetite can handle it!?!? It may take a couple days to recover from food coma!"

"Hands down the BEST breakfast in Clearwater!! Off the beaten path, but just a bit! First it's super nice inside friendly, attentive,knowledgeable, staff and the food was on point as Guy Fieri would say! A new menu which has a big variety of items I couldn't choose it was very hard! Our waitress explained everything and answered a whole bunch of questions and gave her insight to the menu! They have a drink menu also for breakfast mimosa's bloodies etc! My wife and I are breakfast people and this was probably one of the top restaurants we've had breakfast at.. The biscuit beignets were great and she loved the grits which they had a few different versions of. Not even a hundred yards off the beaten path but well worth the walk!"

"Cute little spot surrounded by the massive hotels in Clearwater. They have a wide menu selection from omelets to Benedicts and other typical breakfast selections. Their items are a little elevated. They do get very busy, so join the online wait list. It's worth it when it gets busy. The food was good but not out of this world. The service is good but definitely not fast. So, if you are in a rush, you might want to pick another spot. But it is walking distance from the beach so that is definitely a plus."
