"My wife and I went to the hospital to visit a friend, actually two friends on Friday, 16 February at approximately 2:10 and left 2:45pm. I went to front desk to sign in. No issues. Went to the 4th floor and visited my friend. We stayed there till 2:45ish. When we left, my friend asked if we could stop by the 3rd floor to visit another friend. So of course we did. When we got to the 3rd floor and went to the nurses station. Several people were there, in front and behind the counter. I asked which room our other friend was in. I asked them, the one lady asked for a spelling, we didn't know it. We also didn't pronounce it well(I guess). The lady at the computer said she couldn't find her, the other lady said that they couldn't find her and didn't know how to. I was sad to not visit her. These people seemed like they didn't care or want to make an effort. So we left and went to 1st floor. As we left, I asked the front information desk, the lady took 5 seconds to find her. She told us she left for another facility but couldn't tell us due to privacy. We understood and left. We were so upset that the nurses station on the 3rd floor didn't care. As a veteran I was upset that a hospital could care less to help me and make a patients stay better. Hope I never find myself in this hospital. If all of them are like this and its their standard, I NEVER want them to treat me or my wife..."

"My husband's last two stays at Citrus Memorial were fantastic. The physician and nursing staff were exceptional. So caring and knowledgeable. We certainly recommend this facility."

"I have been into this ER twice in the last 6 months. To be dismissed and sent home due to them not finding anything emergency related. I am in pain and my last visit, my primary care told me to go due to symptoms I was experiencing. Then I get to the ER experiencing chest, back, and neck pain along with abdominal cramping and pain to be given nasty looks by some of the staff. Then have many tests done to be told I'm fine and to talk to my primary care. I understand that this ER can be super busy and the staff could just be overworked but their bedside manner needs a lot of work. I keep thinking about the lady in the triage area next to me who was getting ignored and was telling staff she was in pain to get barley any answer from staff and got ignored at times. I give a 2 star rating because some of the staff were very nice and did their jobs great, where others radiated bad attitudes and made me question if the had any training. When somebody young comes in STOP assuming it's anxiety and that a person is "too young" to be experiencing certain things. Instead of genuinely looking for source of pain and trying to stop it. And STOP assuming people coming in are only looking for meds! That is not always the case! Some people are just in pain and don't want pills to take it away, we just want to know what's wrong instead of being drugged. PS. Thank you for reading my review and I hope that change can come out of this or that someone who reads this chooses a different hospital."

"I received award winning care at this hospital, and these people truly saved my life. I was diagnosed with cancer (out of state) in 2016 and have dealt with many emergency rooms, hospitals, doctors, and medical staff - none of which were as amazing as these people. This was truly the best experience I have had since being diagnosed. The information that was collected and provided during this time was critical to my recovery. The nurses, and staff from the fourth floor went above and beyond when it came to my level of care. Every single staff member, transport aid, all of them were simply amazing. I trust this hospital with my life. I had my oldest daughter here in the 90s and am thankful that they are still going strong in 2023. Thank you all so much."
