"While I understand how leaving a low rating for a business can affect their bottom line, I can't but leave 2 stars on this one. The place is located on the side of the road, between South Bay and Clewiston, FL. It has a large tiki structure, with plenty of outside seating. My concern is that it is very overpriced. We paid $15 for a Cuban corn tamale, and some shreaded meat (ropa vieja) . The was not impressive. The tamale was textureless, as if instead of corn they added grits to the mix. The meat was very greasy. Overall everything was very salty (that is the way Cuban cuisine is). According to the attendant, the tamale was $5 dollars, which means I paid $10 for 4 or 5 ounces of fat and meat. The plate was not a meal, neither by quantity or balance (no rice, or any sides) . I felt ripped off. That was neither a $5 tamale neither a $10 ration of meat. I can't recommend anyone to go and visit this place, not worth your money"

"Displays for the location and that it has is extremely expensive for the food and the food was not good. It was cold and had been reheated with no flavor. We spent $76 and they didn’t even give us the food correct that we had ordered. the weight was ridiculously long and we were the first ones there then came a few other people behind us and they got tired of waiting from how long the wait was to be attended to, this place needs to do better"

"Excellent find for ropa vieja! Generous portions and good price. Batido mamey was amazing! Family friendly atmosphere. Oh and fresh eggs, produce and honey for sale as well. Highly recommend!"
