Courtside Steakhouse

"We were unfortunately disappointed with our recent experience at Courtside Steakhouse. We were in town for a conference taking place at the resort and thought we would have dinner at the on property steakhouse for convenience. Our waiter was relatively nice but honestly difficult to deal with. When asked how items were prepared, members of our party were asked "if they had a problem with that" rather than saying something to such as "its normally prepared this way but I'd be happy to ask the chef if he can accommodate your request". The same happened when asking for a fresh brewed cup of coffee. Even Denny's will at least tell you they are happy to brew a fresh pot. Here we were told, "well I COULD do that for you but I assure you there's nothing wrong with the pot we brewed earlier". The food was certainly pretty good but the service and the fact that the restaurant is currently only accessible via stairwell due to a broken elevator made our party of partially handicapped individuals less than enthusiastic about visiting again for future visits to Ft. Myers. We expected better service than a diner when eating at a white tablecloth steakhouse."

"Our party of 9 arrived not realizing that (post-Hurricane-Ian) the elevator was out of service. Since the restaurant is on the second floor and our guest of honor was wheelchair-bound, we thought our evening was ruined. But the staff here was so gracious that they served us in a private room on the first floor! They could not have been more accommodating! Add to that the the food was plentiful and delicious, and we cannot recommend the experience enough! Many thanks to the quick thinking and incredibly hospitable staff for a lovely evening!"

"First I would like to start with what I felt was good about this restaurant. I ordered the Nebraska ribeye which was delicious and cooked to perfection! The restaurant is located up a flight of steep stairs so seniors handicap beware. Secondly the service was HORRIBLE FROM START TO FINISH.. our waiter was very condescending spoke broken English barely checked with our group . Lastly the manager went to each table to see how the food was .. passed by our group . When we looked at him is when he doubled to check on us . The only good part of our experience was the steak and the assistant to the waiter was excellent.People of color be careful choosing this restaurant"

"I’ll give it 4 stars as my husband raved about it. We arrived first and then another party of two…that was it for about an hour then another table of two. First all three of our menus had little bugs on them. We killed 4 in front of server( they didn’t even blink any eye) the second table arrived with two. We sat a good 15 minutes while they got drinks, bread and dinner ordered. We had to find server who honestly thought we were waiting … I get that but maybe ask. Dinner was good…. Slow for three tables. Steaks my people were very happy with, roasted chicken was very tender and I enjoyed the mushroom risotto. Sides… fed 4 easily. Augratin potatoes were very good, mushrooms for steaks good and truffle Mac and cheese creamy, cheesy and my son loved it. Bread service I think was rewarded. Dry and not hot. Key lime pie was made in house… tart and delicious… graham cracker was was great. We ended hearing about an upset customer who couldn’t book Thanksgiving yet. Dinner $350"

"Saturday we went for my husband's 50th birthday. I had made reservations weeks ago and called twice to confirm. When we arrived there, they couldn't find the reservation but since there were plenty of empty tables, they didn't have a problem seating us. The decor of the restaurant is very much Floridian style. The prices of the select menu are rather on the higher end. Everything is a la carte including side dishes. The NY strip steak was ordered medium rare but arrived almost well done. The lamb was very good. The escargot as an appetizer was alright. The first plate was still dirty from prior usage. That was a turn off. Old fashioned drink wasn't really worth $17. Tasted more like a fruit punch. Overall mixed review. The quality does not match the price. I don't think we will be back. We used to frequent the Courtside in the past."
