"We went to La Botte both for lunch and dinner on a visit to Venice, FL. What a pleasant surprise! The food was very authentic and absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Lovely Laura was the main server with her sister as the chef. Both of her parents worked there as well. We’ve been to Italy many times and felt like we were back in Italy in a way with the excellent food and atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back on another trip!"
"A gem hidden in a dinky shopping center. The best food in Venice. A great red sauce. Delicious combinations of ingredients and flavors. Light and delicate pasta. Even a decent inexpensive house red wine. Our new favorite place. We are already making a reservation to return"
"Being in a strip mall I didn't expect much ambiance at the tattoria interior was nice. We called for a reservation but it wasn't necessary, the restaurant was deserted from when we arrived at 4 until we left at 5. The service was a little slow despite the lack of patrons, we were served and then the waitress disappeared, we ran out of bread but still no waitress, we ran out of sodas but still no waitress. I had the Riccota appetizer which was good but lacked flavor, the La Crocannte salad had fresh greens and what I thought were delicious Prosciutto shavings but nothing else stood out. For the entree my wife had the Lasagna which was meatless in her opinion. I did enjoy my Gnocchi Al Gorgonzola. Good but not great we decided to skip the Ameretta Cake dessert. It wouldn't be worth the calories. 4 stars for the food but 3 for the rest of it."
"Our first visit and it certainly will not be our last. Such great food and great service. My husband and I started with the Ricotta Miele E Noci and the Gamberi Al Limone appetizers which were absolutely delicious. For the entrees we had Strozzapreti Alla Cuccagna and Gnocchi Romani which were the best Italian food we have ever tasted. Then for dessert we had the freshly made Amaretto cake which was divine. Thanks so much for such a great meal."
