"My husband and I split a Caesar salad and it was good. The polenta croutons were tasty. I had a delicious salmon entree with perfectly sautéed spinach and he had the bolognese, also delicious. We actually met my best friend since the 3rd grade (I am in my 60’s now) and her husband. We picked this restaurant based on location from their flight into Tampa airport and on their way to Gasparillo. Our server was so-so nice. Very knowledgeable about their wine and food offerings but not very friendly. She acted as if we were a nuisance when I asked her to take photo. I can’t stand that. We are a lovely group who tips well and respects servers and the back of the house. I expect the same in return. I would go back regardless. Food and atmosphere are outstanding."

"NYE menu for $90 pp was nothing to brag about. We had 8 people and 7 of us didn't like our entrees. I had crab ravioli with vodka sauce and hardly any crab inside huge , well cooked ravioli, tasted like canned watered down crab. The lentil soup was spaghetti sauce w/meat. I swear I'm not lying . My husband is a meatcutter who said his lamb smelled and tasted very gamey. I will not go back after such a disappointment with all my lived ones basically saying same thing. We were not impressed. The waitress was very good, not her fault at all so we paid and tipped her well. The ambiance and cleanliness was also good but not festive. Sorry but not sorry. I wanted italian and got tasteless."

"We live over 2 hours away, but have eaten here once before and I was excited to come back for my birthday dinner. I’m from upstate New York and Italian, so I’m picky with Italian joints. That speaks a lot. The food was great. Daniel our server was great. I got a free tiramisu for my birthday dessert, which was delicious. The only complaint I have is the guy that was at the hostess stand when we first got there, around 730. He was a bit rude and laughed in my face telling me they couldn’t seat us until after 9. The lady walked back up as we were about to leave (I assume the actual hostess?) and told us they’d text around 8 with a ready table. Sure enough, they did. A whole hour before the guy initially told us. Even if we had to wait until 9, it was his attitude that was the issue, not the wait. I think his snarky demeanor and the fact that he didn’t even have an accurate answer is enough reason not to have him greeting people. If we hadn’t been here before and I wasn’t set on wanting this for my birthday dinner, we would have been off put enough to go somewhere else just because of him. It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it."

"This was a great little Italian eatery. They were so full on a Monday night that they moved us to the back in a quiet area of the restaurant. That was really nice! My husband and I both got salads, the Panzanella di Granchio and Insalata di Spinaci e Balsamico. Both were very flavorful and had great presentation. Our entrees were the roasted duck with fig risotto and the jumbo scallops wrapped in prosciutto and asparagus risotto. Both were cooked to perfection and had great presentation and taste. The duck can be easy to overcook and this was definitely not, it was just perfect! We would definitely return and try many other dishes, it was so good!"
