"It was good almost home style cooking"
"Authentic small grocery restaurant combination. Cozy for a bite to eat. Had tacos they were delicious. However I guess not being Mexican I have make what I was ordering. I asked for carne asada. And I got carnitas. I was too hungry and still had a long ride home. My neck of the woods when I ask for carne asada it is Small bites of beef. When I brought it up. I was told that would be fajitas. Fajitas are long strips of beef according to the Mexican restaurant in Dade City. Next time I will make sure they clarify. I can't say I was disappointed. The tacos I had were very good."

"I love Cruz Mex, I always go there for Barbacoa and Menudo, but the location has a bit to be desired but you are always alright, I've never had a problem with anyone. Inside the first area of the actual restaurant is very simple and the little bit to see all the food and smell it too is nice, but the back is gorgeous, large open space with hard wood everything, it's very cozy."
