"A diamond in the rough! Very delicious authentic food! We loved that there were 3 different salsas to go with our complimentary chips! All had unique flavors! Each of our other dishes were great! The “wet” enchiladas were smothered in Queso! The fajitas were piled high and plenty for 2 people! The combo plate was a tamale, taco and tostada! All fresh and the beans were amazing! Please give this place a try!"

"Wow, another hidden gem, diamond in the rough! Don’t let the location scare you and take the time to visit this family restaurant, you won’t regret it! First off the chips, I have not had chips like these in any Mexican restaurant to date! Make sure you ask for hot chips, makes a world of difference! Order 2 cheese dips, why? Because the price is so cheap, you’ll enjoy one on each side of the table! The salsa tastes like they made it that morning, and maybe they did, but regardless you won’t be disappointed! I don’t think they have a liquor license, but it doesn’t matter because they have a beer and wine one, with an awesome tasting very affordable Margarita (wine based if I’m correct). My son ordered his favorite which was not on the menu, but the owner or manager, told him “I know what you want, I’ll make it!” And it was delicious! I of course ordered a chicken fajita and I kid you not, it was the best I’ve had so far! So flavorful that the skillet was scraped clean! The refried beans were amazing, although there could have been more, but still worth getting. So thrilled we found this place, very sad it’s not close to where we live, but I guarantee we will be visiting them again!"

"Great food and atmosphere! This is a hidden gem in Ruskin. Homemade chips with 3 different types of salsa and the margaritas were very good. Flautas and Steak Quesadilla were both amazing and definitely get the charro beans. Highly recommended and we will be back soon!"

"First timers on Thursday and a regular by Saturday! We found a true authentic Mexican restaurant in our local area. My brother and his wife were here visiting, and we were looking for a good restaurant to take them to, and what we experienced was a GREAT RESTAURANT!! Faye was a fantastic waitress and is an asset to your business. She answered all of our questions, shared some stories about the food, and made our dining experience truly memorable. We absolutely loved the food so much that we went back on Saturday. The manager spent a lot of time explaining all the history behind the murals. Thanks for sharing your love of cooking with all that walk through your doors. We enjoyed the whole experience!"
