IHOP

"Stopped by here with a friend for breakfast today. I had not been to an IHOP in a decade or more! What a pleasant experience. We were greeted by a gal at the reception podium and then taken by another gal to our booth. Both made us feel welcome. The place was 3/4 full and all people had food on their plates. Within a minute our waitress, Katie, stopped by with menus. She was a perfect waitress as she was pleasant and professional. She came by a number of times to check on us to see if we needed anything. We overheard her taking orders from other customers, and she was just as pleasant. The food came out correctly, was hot, and was plentiful. I looked over at the full IHOP menu, and the offerings seemed appealing. Definitely will be worth another visit."

"UPDATE: 2/5/2024 I gave it another try this morning (5am) and it was a MUCH better experience. The restaurant was immaculate, my server Amelia was exceptional and the food was as expected. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I left without eating due to the poor service and filthy conditions. I arrived at the IHOP, 30200 US Hwy 19 N, Clearwater, FL 33761 location somewhere around 5:15 a.m. and there was one couple seated. Other than that I was the only customer there. I waiting several minutes at the hostess stand and no one came out. I walked back near the kitchen to get someone's attention. A woman seated me and I told her I didn't need a menu, which I would think indicates I am ready to order. She walked back into the kitchen and I waiting many minutes for someone to take my order but no one came out. The dining area was filthy (photos attached) so I decided it was too risky to actually eat with this staff so I left. I have had better experiences during the early morning hours at this location in the past."

"We were in search of a family restaurant for a very late dinner. This particular IHop was open 24 hours. Limited menu, BUT still lots of choices from breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Limited staff, one woman was running the show and for the time (10-1030pm) being late, it was pretty busy for one person. Other than that, we liked it."

"Better then the last time I went and really affordable. I got to say I was suprised at 2am it was decent.. nothing else in clearwater florida is open that has a vast menu like them. If your up late and need a hot plate or just can't sleep. I do recommend IHOP. In ny it's for sure not this good so I give them 4 stars cause it was way too cold in there. I feel like they have there ac set to death. Fix the ac and maybe have bigger cups so I don't have to get 6 refills and 5 stars all day. Overall for a 24 hour spot.. it's a solid winner for me cause I know how hard it is to run a 24 hour dinner. Props and hand claps for them.. I will be back if I can't sleep at 3am. Thank you ihop"

"I haven't been to an IHOP in years as the one back home closed due to low staffing. Not only is this one 24 hours but the staff are incredibly friendly and we got our food very fast. If you ever find yourself rolling into Tarpon late at night or finally get home after a long day out on the water and are looking for something quick, delicious, and filling definitely come here"
