"I never order ribs at a restaurant because they are never as good as what myself or my dad make. THESE ribs at oakwood are the exception! So good! Tender, fall off the bone, perfectly sauced perfection. You really cant go wrong here. Everything I had was delicuous. The roasted corn salad was fresh and perfectly dressed. The collards were true southern comfort. The sausage had a nice char and great flavor. Those corn nuggets were fantastic! Great light batter and crunch with a super creamy corn filling. Our server was awesome; super friendly and attentive. All in all it was a perfect meal. Thank you!"
"Had the Au Jus Beef Sandwich and fries, it was ok needed more seasoning mainly salt. Au Jus was really under seasoned. French Fries had no crisp to them, a few more minutes in the fryer would help. The French Fries were seasoned well."
"This was our first time there and it was a great experience. Our server was on the mark and friendly as well as helpful in answering questions. Everything was clean and well organized and our food came out quickly. The dishes my wife and I had we're both tasty and plentiful. To add to our amazement they actually give you an extremely large glass of whatever you are drinking. We will definitely be going back to try something else on the menu!"
"Michelle was our server.. She was awesome. Super friendly and attentive. I had the salad and potato soup special. The salad had egg and cheese on it and was huge. My husband had the sliced beef plate with 2 sides. He chose green beans and a corn dish. He loved his meal but didn't care for the corn since it was cold. I thought it was delicious and added it to my salad. Michelle gave me a to go cup for my soda when I went to the bathroom...that was so sweet. There were so many items on the item that I would try. There were 3 officers having lunch so you know the food has to be great!"
