"“Don’t judge a book by looking at the cover.” In town visiting my father in law & was attacked to this place by the excellent reviews..based on the location “in a strip mall” & the exterior appearance, I thought I had been mislead. Once inside I was greeted with great hospitality, exceptional food & service & I was even entertain by my waitress & the owner “he ‘s the guy in the house slippers” it’s my understanding that he’s a regular l, need to be there before 8 AM. This will be my go to Gainsville breakfast restaurant."
"UPDATE: We came in today for a quick bite and a box of muffins and what we had was great food and kids running amok... Some of the kids belonged to other guest but one belonged to a staff member (working at the time) There was a good flow of patrons .. If you haven't eaten here it is a great spot for breakfast. ****** We came to this location after researching reviews in this area. Walking in you think about old Mom and Pops restaurant and it turns out that is exactly what it is ... A restaurant where 96% of the menu is made from Scratch in the kitchen. I photographed nearly the whole experience today and all I can honestly add is this place is FANTASTIC! The food is OUT-OF-SIGHT!! The Staff is 100% GREAT! IF YOU HAVEN'T EATEN HERE YOU SHOULD MAKE PLANS TO!!! We found out the baker makes a minimum of 300 humongous muffins daily of numerous different types and they sell out daily......."
"I wasn't very hungry, so I ordered a chocolate chip muffin. One of the best muffins I've had, hands down, it was cake like and tasted great, and the server offered to heat it up which was a great idea. I wish I had a better appetite, as my girlfriend had ordered an omelette and it looked so good. Staff was not only good during a busy morning, but fun as well. Made the experience that much better and I would recommend this place for breakfast anytime. Will be heading in to try their lunches sometime soon!"
