"Tried the birria tacos and they were pretty good , however the stew was like water and had no taste or seasoning whatsoever (3/5). We also tried the campechano burrito which barely had any grilled steak or sausage but was filled with beans (3/5)."

"I was excited to come here as I heard a lot of good things from my friends about this restaurant. Being my first visit, I went with my usual order of carnitas tacos. Unfortunately, the carnitas were dry and bland. Usually, the sauce is used to add flavor on top of what is already there but the sauce was the only flavor (and juice) at all. Truly disappointed with my meal :( My friends got the chorizo tacos and a platter. I got to sample the chorizo tacos from my friend which tasted way better than my carnitas tacos. I'll probably come back to try another dish only because I got to taste the chorizo, def staying away from the carnitas. *While the tacos alone are fairly priced, they don’t come with sides. After adding on the cost of sides, it gets expensive compared to other taco restaurants in the area."

"La Tienda is a must in Gainesville! The food is absolutely delicious and they never disappoint. I always get the steak chimichanga with rice and beans - it is plenty of food and a great price. There is also a little store located in the back! I highly recommend this place!"

"Everything we got was very low-cost for the portion size, around $11 each entree. Our Birria tacos were the best we’ve ever tried for the flavor and the sauce, we give those a 9.5. We also got a carnitas Chimichanga which was excellent like an 8.9 because of the quality of the carnitas and flavor, and the Chile Relleno was a 7.5 out of 10 could be much higher because of how well the meat was cooked and very fresh but the sauce was a little sweet. Also a great selection of beers. Cute authentic Mexican interior, outside a lot of smoking."

"Parking in the rear, including handicap space and access ramp. You order at the counter and can get it to go or eat inside or on the patio. Servers were good. Tried the Guacamole with chips and salsa that was spot on. Also ordered fried whole fish that came with salad, fried beans, rice, and soft tortillas for my mom. She loved it and couldn’t believe she ate it all! Not really easy to eat with knife & fork, this is best eaten by hand. It was definitely enough for two to share. I ordered beef tongue tacos and they’re okay. Lots of leftovers to take home."
