"My husband and I went through drive thru and the customer service was the worst ever! She didn't speak to us, thank us or give napkins for our ice cream cones without having to request! I've been to many Dairy Queens in my 56 years but I won't be going back to this one ever again!"

"This location in the past year or so has gone far downhill... I tried to order 2 of the chicken strip ring and fry baskets that they have on their menu. The lady said they don't do it like that but she could substitute one basket fries with o-rings and I was okay with that. Then she gave me the total of $28 for 2 4 chicken strip baskets with no drinks!? Like most people's reviews, this location has jacked their prices up higher then any other location in Gainesville. They also up charged me for the o-rings... After we received the food, the basket with o-rings only had 3 small rings and 1 big one, 4 total. Then the basket with fries was basically only half a potato. The chicken strips seemed like they were sitting under a heating lamp for hours. The gravy was cold, clumpy and a dark brown color. At this point, I'd avoid this location at all cost. Just another 10 min drive down I-75 south to Newberry Rd will give you and family better options than this. I personally will not be returning to this location."

Gator Doc:

"$6.36 Chili Dogs. I'm on the road a lot and usually swing by a DQ for a couple Chili Dogs. Usually about $2.89 each, including the other Gainesville location which charges about $2.99 each (also tucked inside a gas station). This DQ must have Chili Dogs made of gold, bc the Chili Dogs are over twice as much, at $6.36 each. Yikes. And the Blizzard is 50% more. So my meal which is usually about $10 was about $20 instead. An extra star given for the delightful drive thru lady. Very kind and courteous. But I'll be going to the other location from now on."
