"I am very grateful to Dr. Thomas Shane and Retina Care Consultants in Sarasota. I needed Dr. Shane's help after my eye came in contact with sap from a milkweed plant. Who would have known that milkweed toxins in the sap of the plant may cause temporary partial blindness. Imagine the thoughts that go through your head when you wake up in the morning and cannot see that well! Dr. Shane performed a comprehensive exam on both of my eyes, diagnosed my troubled eye, and answered all of my questions in a polite and personable manner. Thank you"
