"I'm predisposed to not like chain restaurants, especially since we have so many good locally owned places within reasonable driving distance. And several of them have really good quality steaks! But you know what? This place ain't half bad. The food's a little more affordable than I was expecting, the service is very good and the atmosphere is inoffensively midrange. I tried a sirloin and it was cooked the way I wanted, and didn't have a single bit of gristle or other inedible bits on it. I can't say the same of my dining partner's strip steak; it had an awful line of sinew running the length of the steak that made it a difficult piece of meat to enjoy. Another diner tried the country fried chicken and it got a hearty thumbs up. A big, juicy chicken cutlet with crispy breading was served with a nice gravy that was thick and a little peppery. Sides were a more mixed bag, with the sweet potatoes being good with marshmallows and honey butter+brown sugar, but one diner's potato was missing a caramel topping. The other diner had mixed vegetables that were pretty bland and still pretty hard. They could have stood to be a bit more seasoned and cooked longer. One other issue we did encounter is some of the food items were not up to proper temperature. The gravy was cool as was one of the steaks. The real highlight was the service, which was excellent. It seems all the good servers in Foley have found a home here. They also have wireless kiosks at the tables so you can pay with a card or phone without giving it to a server, which is nice. Overall, better than I was expecting. I can see why it's been so insanely popular since opening, and I begrudgingly admit that it can hold its own with our beloved local places. The early bird menu has some decent values on it, too, so it's worth going a little early to both beat the crowd and save a few dollars."

"After a small struggle to get in because the two very young hostesses were not capable of managing a line or seating people, we had a great experience. We had a great waitress, believe her name was Reka, she was great. Our food was cooked perfectly and the steaks were correct and everything was delicious. The staff even danced to the “watermelon crawl” when it came on, great spot. We come here from Pensacola because the TR there is mismanaged and food is wrong."

"The filet’s are great as are the rattlesnake bites. Blooming onion was really good as well! Music was a little too loud for talking but they turned it down just a hair and it helped. It was super busy on a Friday but the service was great. I recommend checking it out."

"Had to take my wife here for her birthday. She’s from Texas and couldn’t stop mentioning this place when it was built. I had no idea what I was in for when I went here. The staff was super friendly. They surprised her with a birthday brownie and ice cream. The food was excellent as you can see from the pictures. That cactus fritter thing was crazy good. Gave me terrible onion Breathe though as to be expected. I brushed my teeth several times before it came out, but it was worth it. Can’t wait to come back here soon."

"Love Texas Roadhouse and Foley did not disappoint! The food was excellent! Steak cooked to perfection, sides were great and the salad was fresh and tasty. The service was also excellent with everyone being friendly, attentive and quick. We will be back. Tip for those planning to go, use the website or app to get on the wait-list. During peak times you will be waiting for quiet a while. Joining the wait-list in advanced means very little if any wait!"
