"First off I’m a local and eat out regularly in the area. Decent food but on 3rd visit the server ruined it for me. Asked for a small guac (explicitly said I don’t want the $10 large guac) and he brought me a large and insisted to charge me for the large even though he acknowledged, I asked for a small... after the fact, once the bill was written, he felt that was the right time to tell me they didn't offer a small. I told him explicitly I didn’t want the $10 large size, Choosing not to argue I simply let him know that I was a fairly new loyal customer who typically tipped decent, but since he was being argumentative, he could deal with the $2.50 that was left over from the 40. Instead of the decent tip I gave to my server Andrew the 2 previous visits he got $2.50 and he directed me to talk to a manager and I reminded him he knew I asked for small and could get with Anthony to see how I'd tipped him the previous night. Called later in the day spoke with Andrew when I asked for a manager, never got a follow up… Great way to burn a super loyal customer who gets protein after the gym @ planet up the street daily (usually from chipotle) Food might be good but if your service is awful and your servers are just trying to jam more $ on my bill for a bigger tip, I'll never return. Adios Villarta"

"First time here and won’t be the last! My husband and I loved the atmosphere. The decor was beautiful. It was very clean. The waitress was prompt and friendly. The food was nice and hot and delicious. We took our leftovers home and it was just as good reheated. Can’t wait to go back!"

"We came here because of the reviews. I honestly thought I had found some good authentic Mexican food, but everything we ordered: the tamale, beef enchilada, taco were very disappointing. Everything is covered in a red gravy and food had no seasoning. The horchata had a pink color and did not taste anything close to every other horchata I’ve had . I should have know better. Good Mexican food In Alabama?! Nah… I’ll pass and stick to a known fast food next time. PS , I’m from Texas. We got some good Mexican food. Was only able to get one pic, they took the other plate back before I got to take more pics"

"Yesterday I had the shredded beef flautas and came back tonight for steak fajitas. Exceeded my expectations. Shredded beef had lots of flavor and the Guacamole was great. The steak was tender, perfect. The staff are wonderful! The water was even good!"

"Excellent!! I get the Rio Grande salad at every Mexican restaurant I visit. This was the best one I've ever had! The char on the steak was perfect. The waiter handled our LARGE group of 40+ women like a champ. We had a wonderful meal, thank you very much."
