"I kept hearing people talk about swamp soup and his great it was and something called Cajun pistols. But we're so delicious and I don't like hush puppies but they have the best ever and they're freaky yummy, great cake, great coleslaw, even the fries were good. Super impressed"
"My girl and I got the seafood basket and the crawfish pistol sandwich, a long with the complimentary "swamp soup". The soup was actually good, a collard green chicken broth soup with beans and sausage. Very thin and sparse, but actually quite good like that. The seafood basket was likely frozen seafood dropped in a deep fryer. Nothing came across as fresh, and with fish that means not good. The crawfish pistol sandwich was alright, with a thick gravy poured inside a hollowed out French bread loaf. The bread was definitely not from scratch, and definitely processed. The service was pretty good. Our server was friendly and attentive."
"The food is very typical fried seafood and burgers. Nothing special. The server was attentive and pleasant. The gumbo was served cold but the server replaced it with hot gumbo. The only thing with color is the salad. Not a good place if you are wheat intolerant. We were there because of others in our group; it’s just not our kind of place. I will not return."
"Some of the best fried catfish I have ever had. Great crispy breading and a moist fish inside. Also the hushpuppies are some of the best I have ever had as well. Light and fluffy and not tough like I have had many times before. Great choice if you’re looking for fried seafood of all kinds."
"Fried green tomatoes were outstanding! We had a little bit of everything in the line of seafood, including frog legs. All were delicious! The wait staff was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. The bus help picked up used plates from our table and I appreciated that! A great experience."
