"How much does it cost to say “good morning”, or “how are you doing?”, or “thank you”? It doesn’t cost me anything and I do it several times a day. This Race Trac earned an “F” today for customer after I spent $40 on fuel. It was shortly before 7am and I walked in to grab an Apple fritter. Neither of the two women working spoke. The woman at the register got another opportunity when i approached to pay for said Apple fritter. What did I get? “Will that be it?” After I gave her the cash to pay for the aforementioned Apple Fritter, did I get a “thank you”? Of course not. Instead I got “there you go”, referencing my change back. If that doesn’t beat all, the woman at the register wore a name tag identifying her as “Gen. Mgr”. I can only imagine how the other employees treat the customer if this woman is training them."
"For the last five years, my husband and I have stopped here every morning and gotten coffee together and see the same people. They are courteous and nice and the coffee is always fresh. We love it so much that we even stop on the weekends when we’re out. Hands-down The best place in Canton for a coffee and a snack. It is great that they remember you and it makes it have that neighborhood feel which we so much need these days. During Covid when my husband was in the hospital I could go over in the middle of the night and tap on the door, and even if the gentleman was alone, he would let me in to use the restroom and would ask me how my husband was doing. Still today he tells my husband glad you’re still with us. Great people over there."
