"Depends on the location. You can tell who's there because they truly have a passion for helping people and then you can also tell who's there for all the wrong reasons and I'm definitely talking about the people that work for housing authority. There are a few people that work for housing that have higher power and they take advantage of it. And you can't say anything because they have your housing in their hands..... Other than that you can gain a lot and you can definitely get somewhere as long as you stay to yourself mind your business and get in touch with the right people. It's what you make it."
"When I first became a resident, the office made it pretty easy and accommodating for people who need help. Now trying to recieve help is like finding a needle in a haystack. They don't care if your health is being put at danger, they don't care for lack of proper transportation, they don't properly mail you out papers to your address & trying to talk to someone is battling with voice-mail all day. It's pretty disappointing & sad."
"The process, waiting list may take awhile. But once you are up on the list they go above and beyond to get your family in housing and help in any way. Some of the ladies that work here really have a heart of gold. If your family needs to get back on their feet, fill out an application as soon as the list is open, it may take awhile but it will be worth it in the end."
"The ladies in there carry ver positive energy & for someone like myself who recently relocated here to Alabama it was exactly what I needed. Thank you ladies so very much. Very nice people even other customers."
