"Let me begin with I am German and a Chef I went way out of my way to swing by this place to pick up some lunch meats, sausages and some other German stuff. I am very unimpressed. There was two kinds of boiled sausages. Something like a wiener and what I believe is a knock. The wiener was flavor wise pretty good but the meat was a little soft without bite. But again flavor was good. Lunch meats. There was two kinds. Two. No Leberkäse no Fleischkäse no Lyoner/Bologna Bierschinken absolute nothing. 2 kinds. I bought a small piece of Gelbwurst and had the same issue as with the wiener. The inside feels creamy, not the bite I am used to from a lunch meat. Taste was again pretty decent. But the utter lack of variety shocked me. On to smoked meats. Again very little available. Andoulie, two kinds of Hungarian supposedly Kolbasz. The name of the Place is actually Hungarian so I had hope. No Landjäger no Westphalia ham nothing. I went with what I believe wanted to be a Csabai Kolbasz. Very unimpressed. Honestly, if you want Kolbasz in the US order from Bende Illinois Imported Goods like German pickles and a very thin variety of Mustards were on the shelf, non of the Sodas. Again very thin pickings. Some chocolate and cookies. Now I will admit it is Tuesday. Maybe things look better towards the end of the week. But since this is a 170mile hike I doubt I will throw another shadow at this doors. Specially the Kolbasz hurt my heart. I have a huge cold box in the bed of my truck because I had hope. Now I will go back empty. Don't trust my word go yourself and find out. Again it may be a Tuesday problem but I left sad."

"Drove a long way to get there yesterday. They were out of most of their products, there no labels on anything in the case, no prices displayed and no list of what was available. Only 1/2 of one refrigerated case had any in it and NO BACON! It looked like they were going out of business. I have loved Patak’s for many years but I’m not going back… it’s too far away to get disappointed like this again"

"Very good products, unfortunately in the last 2 online orders I ordered fresh polish sausages and fresh bratwurst, both smell like washing chemicals , not sure what , similar to chlorine. Please review what's happening. Thanks"

"Just discovered this place through a friend of mine, and let me tell you it’s a hidden gem on a quite powder springs road near some oil field. At first while driving there, I thought I was lost because it’s located in an rural like street where houses are far a part and lots of farms. My first impression is wooow this place definitely deserve much more recognition and publicity. The place is super clean and the clerks are so friendly and professionals, they even change changed gloves when they handled my order. The plentiful selection of different meats is something you will only see in New York busy European communities. Although the majority of the meats are pork, I was super excited to finally try none-pork fresh products from beef bacon to beef salami to smoke salmons. I will definitely be visiting again once my supplies run out and it’s worth my 30min drive from Woodstock. Thank you!"
