"This place use to be good a few years back but the short white lady Manager as poor customer service. I took my 14k gold chains to pawn, the young black gave me a offer for both but I only pawned one. I came back two days later with the same gold but the manager tell me they cannot take it because it’s feels funny. Now I know they have all types of test to see if jewelry is real. She completely ignored the tests because it feels funny. Never heard of that but keep in mind this is one of the same gold I brought in to the black guy who tested it and gave me a offer. I told her I just came here two days prior with the exact same one and it was no problem. She had a very nasty attitude with me told me to come back a week later so another guy can take a look I asked her but your the manager right, you supposed to know these things. She replied well it feels funny take it somewhere else. I went right on to cash America on Gray hwy they tested it and gave me a higher offer. I honestly think she not fit for a manager to tell a customer something like that and I been dealing with them for years not anymore Cash America is a better pawn."

"I was very upset to read a negative remark about Shurlington Pawn Shop in Macon , Ga. I have known the owner for many years. Also I have known the Manager that this customer referred to for about 16 years. I have never known any employee to be rude to a customer. If so, they would not be employed very long when the owner found out. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but may I suggest that you speak with the owner before making nasty remarks about his place of business. After all, Shurlington Pawn was voted The Best Of The Best 2017 by the readers of The Telegraph. Please don't let one person bad experience spoil the reputation that they have built within the community!"
