"Ordered material and was told it would be there the next day after 2PM. I waited until the following day to ensure it would arrive. I even opted for store delivery since that is what the sales representative recommended. When I arrived to get my material I was told no only was it not in the store but it would not arrive for 11 days. The counter workers were pleasant but that does not help in a time sensitive job."

"During the Covid-19 scare my residential well system failed. The only well service contractors I could even get to look at it wanted huge money "to do it right". I decided to rebuild it myself, and found the problem. Our supply chains are so short today nobody carries in inventory the parts you need for this kind of job. There are no local plumbing supply stores, if Google "Plumbing Supply Stores" all you'll get are sinks, bathtubs, toilets, and faucet showrooms with only basic plumbing supply. If you Google "Well supply company" all you'll get are contractors. Home Depot and Lowes could provide various parts, but it was frustrating how lacking they were for this kind of thing, and they didn't have exactly what I needed. There were a couple of plumbing wholesalers that had the fittings I needed, but they only sell to contractors with business tax IDs. Luckily, I found Grainger Industrial Supply, I had never heard of them before. Basically they're a professional supply company that also sells to the general public. Grainger was able to get EVERYTHING I needed to pickup at their Macon Georgia branch THE NEXT DAY. They provide quality parts, at a reasonable price, and their service is excellent. I can't say enough about the service. Everyone at the branch was super nice and helpful, even for a newbie DIYer like me. They have a customer for life. THANK YOU Grainger Industrial Supply. PS: My only suggestion is for them to expand their line to include more quality residential well water equipment, like PVC drop pipes, quality poly pipe, connections, submersible wire, pressure tanks, etc. With as many residential well systems as we have in my state I'm floored at how hard it is to find suppliers willing to sell drop pipe to homeowners. I wanted to use PVC and couldn't get it, so I had no choice to go with poly pipe. The big box retailers sell bits and pieces, but it's hard to put a system together. Everything has to be shipped, and takes many days to get. Sometimes well "renovations" are done when an old well pump or component gives up the ghost and dies. Sometimes (like in my case) without warning. Being without water during a lockdown is tough."
