"I recently had them install a trailer hitch and wiring harness on my 2013 Toyota Highlander. Although the hitch was installed cleanly, they did not do their due dilligence and confirm that the trailer wiring was even functioning before I left with my vehicle. I hooked up a trailer a few days after install to find out the trailer lights do not light up. I metered the wiring harness from my vehicle and to my surprise 0 volts across all connections. After a 30 sec google search I discovered there is a $42 control box that should be mounted under the driver side dash that connects to a factory connector that is unused until a wiring harness is installed. Also there needs to be an added 10amp fuse put in place in the factory fuse panel next to the battery for all of this to work. All of this I discovered in 30 sec of research. That leads me to the phone call. I called H&H to let them know about the wiring not working. I explained in the little research I did what part they missed. The gentlemen did apologize but then proceeded to inform me that they would have to charge me an additional fee to correct the issue for the part and labor to install it. This is where I felt inclined to write a review. I am in sales, design, and installation for my profession. If we design a system and install a system that we charge as complete, first we will test it to make sure it is working properly and to specifications, secondly if it is not complete and we missed something then we will take care of it and no cost to the customer. Mind you I work in a profession where our misses could be thousands of dollars. Not $42. So I ordered the exact brand and part "they use" and will install it myself. This is very bad customer service especially when they charged over $700 for what was billed as a complete install and didn't even do their due diligence to test that it was working. If you want it done right, do it yourself or find somewhere else."
