WS Hardwood Floors

"Wellington & his crew were used at our home to remodel our kitchen through an interior decorator we hired. We are disappointed in Wellington's handling of the stripping the wood to place the countertop. When the wood was stripped, they wanted to just cover it up with a panel. Placing the panel over it was approved, but I ask for the wood to be resanded and repainted. Wellington just repainted and that was painted incorrectly, & he then placed the panel on top of it. Along with that area, other areas were not painted with the actual paint. Wellington painted the areas with the primer. So, you see a flat finish beside a glossy finish. There was a trim that I requested to go with the other trim, he stated he did not have those supplies. There was a radio system that Wellington was to move from the wall. It was removed with misding pieces & the backsplash was placed over before we knew there was a problem. Now, we will have to drill a hole in the wall to take care of it. Their cleaning was mediocre. Paint on multiple spots on garage floor. We were also disappointed because Wellington tried to take advantage of us by overcharging on painting the inside of our cabinets. Because my husband was questioning his price, Wellington became rude & unprofessional. He then tried to apologize about the price ONLY after my husband told him he was a contractor. It was obvious that either Wellington & his crew did not know how to do some of the tasks we agreed on, or they were using shortcuts. I agreed to WS floors (I should have realized & question more on a floor company doing kitchen remodel) and Wellington because I trusted the interior decorator's decision to use Wellington. We expected a profession job, professional attitude, and professional results."

"WS Floors did a stellar job on our stairwell. My wife I decided to change out the carpet on our stairs. Wellington and his team came in and quickly transformed the stairwell to a thing of beauty! Very professional, with attention to detail. Moreover, they showed a great deal of respect for our home. I would certainly recommend this company to anyone with flooring needs. Update on previous review, BUYER’s BEWARE! Although this company did a super job on my initial job 6 months ago. I am experiencing a tremendous amount of noise on 1/3 of my stair treads. Upon reaching out to the owner of the company, I was told that they would come out to check the stairwell. Needless to say...I have not heard back from them. I have left several voice and text messages, and have not heard back from anyone. For this reason alone, I would not recommend this company to anyone! They will not honor their warranty, they appear to be a grab $$$ and go outfit. I should not be dealing with this issue after 6 months."

They were extremely patient with us providing many flooring samples in order to find exactly what we wanted, and then we were given a great quote that was significantly below other companies in the area. The installation was great, and they did everything they could to make us happy. They even came later to make a minor repair for us! We were very pleased with our experience and would highly recommend them to others!"

"WS Flooring was great. I took bids from several companies and decided on WS Flooring because the owner showed up in a very professional vehicle and was very detailed in his estimate. He would not charge me extra for using a credit card and I did not have to pay anything up front. This made me feel that this was a well run business that understood the importance of good customer service. The crew showed up on time. They actually went over and above to accommodate me when I had to fire a tile contractor. The work was excellent and I felt very comfortable leaving the crew in my home. I simply love how my tile and hardwood floor staining and refinishing turned out. Good, dependable, punctual hardworking and competent contractors are hard to find.
