"Brought home a huge Burl from an old Oak that stood on our old family farm in Mississippi. Needed to have it slabbed and found Leh by chance. Glad I did. Not only was he able to cut such an odd ball piece but he spent time with me making sure that I knew how to treat the wood to insure it didn’t crack during drying. I can’t wait for the pieces to dry so I can start finishing them for each family member. Thanks again Leh!! Will definitely use you again for my next project."

"Leh Meriwether was incredibly helpful in answering my questions and giving much need advice on how to proceed in clearing some of my land and getting the timber milled for personal use. Not only did he respond immediately to a request, he did so in the midst of a personal tragedy. He promised to put me on his list, called me and came out within a week without me having to remind him. His prices appear to be very reasonable and he gave me referrals and a plan of action needed before cutting more timber. Understandably with his personal tragedy, he had forgotten to quote me a consulting fee. He refused to take any money when I asked him if I owed him anything for the 1 1/2 hours he spent with me on a Saturday morning. I will definitely use him for my milling and highly recommend him based on his ethics of conducting business. The other reviews back me up in this endeavor."

"I cut down a red oak on my property that recently died. I brought a section to Meriwether Millworks to have a large 5"x10" piece cut for fireplace mantel. He told me how he would cut it to reduce the risk of splitting then gave me tips on the proper drying technique and time needed. It came out beautifully. I even got a few 8/4 boards from the log too. Fair pricing and I received exactly what was promised."

"I reached out to Meriwether a few months back to have a dozen logs milled and dried. After air drying and then kiln drying, I was finally able to pick up over 900 BF of lumber. The cuts were exactly what I wanted with a mixture of live edge and dimensional. Everything was stacked and ready when I got there. Now onto creating."
