I brought it to their attention and they accused me of wearing it again to which I explained I had not. They insisted they’d charge me again to do their job correctly. "We have used them for years and always been pleased with their work. However, we needed to use their washing services after my husband had surgery, and it was outrageous on the pricing. Just to do a basic wash and fold (no dry cleaning or ironing) on a sheet set and 4 regular-sized blankets and one twin was over $100! Lesson learned on this one...we will definitely never use them for basic washing if we ever need that service in the future. We should have just had them dry cleaned and it wouldn’t have cost this much. They definitely should have told us that when we dropped them off (and clearly now in hindsight we should have asked about pricing!). We have known Jay and his team for well over 10 years and always been pleased with their communication and customer service until now."
"I have used Star Cleaners for several years and have watched as the quality of its services has declined. Yesterday was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I picked up four white dress shirts that I had dropped off to be cleaned and pressed. All of the shirts were incredibly wrinkled with large creases spanning the entire height of the shirts. To make matters worse, one of the shirts has a large makeup stain on the front. Don’t waste your money here - you’ll just end up having to re-launder everything."
