"PhD, African American female sorely disrespected and slighted on 10/18 while purchasing furniture for my office. The employee that usually assists me, Cher was off that day. I should have waited because the fill in employee was UNPROFESSIONAL & HATEFUL! Did not greet me as I watched him greet others; say goodbye to Caucasian males & their partners as they left the store; did not respond to my questions in a polite way; seems agitated that I arrived at 6:45/ he got off at 7pm & mishandled my items as rang them up. As I was leaving I heard him calling his wife and telling her he was “Sorry for being late coming home” as I turned and looked at him, he cut his eyes at me & turned his head. Horrible experience after being treated so nicely by Cher! Word to the wise, don’t go in the store to buy furniture at 6:45pm if Cher is not available. I spent $1700 but had a budget for $2700….."
"The nicest big lots in this area. They have better furniture options than others I've went to. Their prices aren't bad either. Update I bought the oakwood one. I suggest buying brackets for extra support. Maybe even some kind of adhesive. Mine started to sag and broke apart. I fixed it but still not happy about it."
