"I am absolutely ecstatic about the work Village Shoe Repair did on my favorite pair of cowboy boots. My poor boots had been worn out, lost a heel, been chewed on by my dog, and were basically unwearable. These guys restored them and now my boots look great and still feel like old friends. I highly recommend these guys! They charged a reasonable price and had my boots ready when promised."

"I did not have a good experience. I went in there Wednesday July 26th just to drop my shoes off. The strap had broken and I asked for the part that he was repairing to be changed to elastic, and also on the shoe that was not broken. I just wanted to change the same part to elastic just to give me a little more stretch. The gentleman was not pleasant, I could feel his negative energy when I came in the door when he looked at me. I'm not saying that the gentleman was prejudiced but that's the vibe that he gave. Maybe he was overwhelmed with work. Anyway, he told me it would be 3 to 4 weeks before I could get my shoes, and it was going to be $50. I've had shoes repaired many times and I've never paid that much for something so simple. It's like he was trying to deter me from leaving my shoes there. And he succeeded........ I was going there because I live close to the Tucker area, but however there was another shoe repair shop that I was contemplating that closer to my job. So today I went to that shoe repair store by my job my shoes will be ready on Saturday the 30th and the price is $14! Update; 8/8 Thank you to the owner for taking the time to reply. I understand the first come first serve basis, however, I didnt realize the extent of all the services that are provided by your business. Thank you so much for the clarification."

"Stellar work and customer service. I wish I had a pic of what the boots looked like before so you could see the amazing level of craftsmanship that went into this sole and heel reconstruction. Top level artistry here, money well spent."

"I went in just to check the place out. I asked about a million questions and Larry was very friendly and really, seriously seems to like what he does. Specifically, I was impressed by the products he used for shoe care when polishing his customer's shoes. I spend way too much time on the internet and was shocked that he used the best (most expensive) products for a $20 shine. I'm tire of buying shoes that I have to throw away after a few years and plan on only buying what I can take to Village Shoe Service to be repaired. Look - things are expensive. The prices he has clearly listed seem in line with what else I've seen and I know overhead, machine costs, material costs and labor all add up. When I take these things in to account, I don't know how he does a $20 shine. If I wanted to do it at home it would cost a $100 just to get the products he uses to say nothing about the time it takes to actually use said products."

"Larry is exceptionally good at what he does. I recently got my Birkenstocks resole at a different shoe repair store but i was not too please with it. The sole was so stiff that the sandals couldn't flex thus, making it very uncomfortable to wear. Luckily Larry was able to fix that. Larry install a heavy duty vibram outsole attach to a very comfortable midsole. When i received the Birkenstocks back, they were so comfortable that it felted like i was walking on cloud. I would highly recommend everyone to come to Larry for any shoe repair service. He was very kind, informative and his work was very superb. Not to mention the price was also affordable. I will definitely return to have my other boots fixs."
