"The golf course was pretty well maintained. The area had recently received lots of rain, but the course was in very good condition. Their website says no outside food or drink allowed but the restaurant wasn’t open and there was nowhere to purchase food or drinks. The pro shop was basically nonexistent in that there was no gear or even new golf balls available for purchase. They had maybe fifty used balls. It’s a good thing my friend brought water and balls, as I was visiting the area and only had a set of my son’s irons. The young lady working the pro shop counter was very cordial. This rating is based primarily on the course condition."
"Good course with small elevation changes and a few tight fairways. Good bunker conditions and tee boxes. Fun clubhouse for the golfers and tennis players. Worth the fee."
"It was a pleasure working with sugar creek golf & tennis club amazing environment friendly staff very cooperative and helpful members there i would recommend everyone to be a part and member of the community and club and have a such a wonderful experience Amazing activities for kids specially golf nice and experienced instructors Excellent ambience to spend your time with family friends and kids Special thanks to Mr Terry Alexander and miss Larry ( apologize if I'm spelling it wrong ) such a wonderful experience people i felt like I'm with my family . All staff members volunteers workers are such loving and caring Thank you so much once again Hope to see you all soon and visit sugar creek golf & tennis club ."
"Usually in very good shape. Staff care about the place and about your playing experience. I've been playing this course for much of the summer, always walking. (As usual, I'm normally the only walker: why don't more people get out of the cart and get some exercise? It makes golf more fun, too.) Bottom line is that this course is cared for. The greens are usually in good condition, the fairways mostly excellent. Come ready, because the 2nd and 3rd hole are waiting to ruin your round - and maybe also the tricky 12th and 13th, the latter requiring a long enough drive to make the sharp dogleg right turn over the creek. The driving range could do with a bit of TLC - Charley Yates is still the best in town - but you can't beat the friendly atmosphere at Sugar Creek."
"Great Golf course! Good and interesting Layout. Pace of Play was perfect. Greens are fast and good to play. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. We hand a wonderful day of golf."
