Waffle House Corporate Offices

"Waffle House needs to be consistent about applying any military discount. It's frankly disrespectful and unacceptable for them to offer it at most locations throughout the country where I've been throughout the years but not all. It puts the customer in an unnecessary awkward position. Waffle House wants their food more than I do. This can simply be fixed by Corporate consistently requiring that all locations apply the military discount or make the policy that no locations apply any military discount. Consistency is the point. I'm requesting that others reading this take a stand (military and non military) to bring enough attention to this matter so that Corporate does the right thing. I gave Corporate a chance. The rep that I had spoken with simply indicated that they don't apply it consistently on purpose. Not her exact words but the translation in fairness. I requested to speak with someone in management, and she refused any escalation. Unacceptable on that front as well. I will ensure that this gets posted in as many locations online to bring awareness to this issue on principle. I don't expect any company to offer a military discount for the record. It's appreciated when they do, though, of course. The issue here is the inconsistent application of the military discount across the Waffle House brand. It's frankly damaging to the brand."

"Keeps going downhill & needs better staff. They just don't care & why should they. After all they get charged for a meal a day by Waffle House even if they don't eat. The food has gotten greasier over the years. They've changed the waffle recipe several times & the thickness of the waffle. Where I'm at the staff argues most of the time. It just not a fun place anymore. Sad really I grew up eating here. I took my kids when they were little. But I feel like I'll be going back much."

"Where is a huddle house when you need one? Huddle house really needs to expand to fill in the gaps with waffle houses. Horrible service. I used to be able to call into my local waffle house to do a pick up. It used to be so Simple and easy. Now Waffle house has put up barriers for doing call-in orders. Now, you can’t call in a pick up order, you have to go on their website. Which is fine if the website weren’t so horribly designed that it makes it impossible to do a pick up order. The Waffle House website doesn’t identify the address I manually typed in to do the pick up order.. So, not only does waffle House make it Impossible to call in an order. They also make it impossible to find the location on their website that you want to order from. So, no call and pickups and no Internet pick ups no pick ups at all. They don’t wanna do any pick ups. GO TO HUDDLE HOUSE!"

"I am 65 years old and grew up dining at Waffle House and in all those years I have never asked for a receipt until today. 7: 20 Sunday morning on 01/07/23: I had intended on eating my breakfast at the Airport Waffle house on Airport Blvd in West Columbia, SC but the music was blasting so loud it was like a nightclub so I ordered for my business associate and myself and ordered to go because of the loud music. I ordered two meals to go; a breakfast bowl for my associate ($9.75) and a single hash brown with a large order of bacon for myself ($8.75) sub-total of $18.50 and was told it was $24.00 I asked for a receipt because lately the the tickets seemed rather high each time I dined here and to my surprise I was charged an ADDITIONAL $1.85 because it was a "to go" order PLUS another $1.85 for a "Service Fee". In short I had to pay an additional $3.70 (20%), PLUS $1.53 for sales tax, (9%). total of a 29% adder on an $18.50 meal NOT INCLUDING tip which I did tipped $3.50. $27.50 for a small breakfast. After eating at Waffle House my entire life today I made a decision NOT to ever spend another cent at Waffle House because a 20% "fee" on top of paying for my meal, a high sales tax and tip is not competitive whatsoever and in my opinion is absolutely ridiculous. I will also tell every living soul that I encounter the rest of my life and THAT my greedy corporation is a promise! And to top it off the real F/U was that I was shorted two slices of bacon! I ordered and PAID FOR a large order of five strips and when I arrived at work I had only three. Such a pity that a business that I grew up with became another greedy. predatory corporation. Good riddance Waffle House!"

"There was garbage on the floor and a spray bottle of something laying on the floor right in front of the grill and they kept walking around it. I could show a picture of it if I have the opportunity to do that they did not speak to me the whole time I was there other than to get my order they did not asked to refill my coffee and I stood at the cash register for about three minutes While he just did other stuff and ignored me. I was trying to pay my bill. I finally left $15 for a $13.79 bill and he got a very small tip. He looked out the window at me as I left Ash acting like I was the idiot I will not be back ."
