"If you want to experience authentic Japanese food, this is the place. The exterior may not be very attractive, but once inside, you’ll feel like you’re in Japan. It’s one of the few Japanese restaurants run by Japanese staff. The sushi is fresh and the ramen is savory."
"This place isn't close, but it was worth the 1 hour drive! I ordered the tempura combo, gyu don and the saba shioyaki and sashimi combo. Everything was excellent! The staff was friendly as soon as I walked in, and although I had to drive over 1 hour back, the food was still warm when I opened it. Everything had great flavor and it blew my taste buds away. The tempura became soggy, but the flavor of it with the sauce was good! The gyu don was super tender and tasted great on its on and with the rice. It packed a ton a flavor and made a hearty meal. The sashimi was super fresh and tasted great with the wasabi, and the shioyaki was super tender and had excellent flavor. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something new or wants to expand their palate with great flavors. It also has a store stockef with products straight from Japan so before or after you eat, you can also buy things to take home. I will definitely be coming here again!"
"This is a place where you can taste traditional Japanese food. Their food is not fusion style or creative, but rather food that you can actually have in Japan. The taste is ok, it is closer to homemade cooking. When you visit during busy hours, food may not be served so quickly."
"Loved this hidden gem!! Make sure to go earlier to avoid large crowds! Had the ume onigiri, takoyaki, the 5-assorted sushi chef’s special, and dinner Oyakodon & Gyudon! Recommend coming here with a date since there’s a nice gift shop next door."
