"Grabbed a quick lunch with a friend here and really loved the restaurant design. It's very spacious with beautiful lighting. We ate outside and I got the fish sandwich with sweet potato fries..the sandwich was just okay to be honest. Nothing spectacular. We also got the carrot cake which was was a pretty decent size and tasty enough though more crumbly than moist. I will say the service was impeccable and very attentive so that was a huge plus. I would definitely check it out again and try other things on the menu."

"We were so excited to finally have a night to revisit the Rose & Crown Tavern after the long time renovation of the restaurant and the surrounding area. The roof top is absolutely gorgeous. The downstairs is now a fine dining restaurant – which we did not visit – just looked in the windows. We were greeted at the host station where we were asked if we had a reservation…ope?! We need one for a tavern? No, I think it was just a formality. We were promptly seated at a four top on the roof top patio. The weather was absolutely perfect for being out there. Not breezy, not cold, not hot, and the sun was just about to set. Picture Perfect! (oops, didn’t take one!) Our waiter was beyond gracious and knowledgeable. Although I had the feeling they trained him to talk about how much the renovation cost and that there is a fine dining section downstairs. Which honestly, I’m glad he told us a little about the fine dining part, I would have never known it was now two restaurants (with the same name?). The prices. Sheppard’s Pie - $30.00 Salmon Salad - $22.00 2 pretzels - $26.00 Burger - $21.00 Chicken Club Sandwich - $17.00 Water for adults, Cokes for kids – not sure of the cost, not listed on the menu. Food was not too bad, portions for the pie and salmon could have been larger to match the prices. These are not what I would call “bar” or “tavern” prices. This is more of a place that I’ll go to maybe once a year, if I have $200.00 to drop on a meal with my family of 4. I appreciate all of the renovations and the beautiful setting, but keeping the name of “Rose & Crown Tavern” may be a bit of a mistake. Having two restaurants under the same name in the same location, a little on the “huh?” side as well."

"Dined upstairs with beautiful ambiance and friendly service at the bar. Some vegan options include the Curry Cauliflower ($21) and Hummus ($14). The Curry Cauliflower was flavorful. I was, however, expecting the sauce to be more warm as well as more vegetables. I would come back for a quick appetizer at the bar. The fine dining downstairs will have a different menu/cocktail program."

"This restaurant is all new! It doesn’t look like it has any bearing to the original restaurant. It is clean, modern, spacious, and a lively, energetic restaurant upstairs. The downstairs is currently not open yet. When you go up the stairs, you walk directly into the bar, that has table seating as well. This is community seating, where you might be placed with some strangers that might become your friends. I personally think that’s cool. If you sit outside, there are tables with umbrellas and canvas sail coverings and couches and chairs out in the open. The bar is open to the outside as well. I found the atmosphere to be lively and happy, without being too loud. Our server, Sam, was very friendly, and had several recommendations. He was spot on, and I enjoyed my fruity berry drink very much. The presentation was beautiful! We also ordered the banana toffee pie, which was divine. This may be my favorite dessert ever! Ever!! I will be going back to try dinner. I love a good crabcake, and fish and chips. With that being said, I did find the price is to be a little on the high side. But, we are in Atlanta. Looking forward to seeing if the food is worthy of the price tag. I also am looking forward to trying the fine dining downstairs. Check it out and enjoy the beautiful weather outside, while eating some really yummy food."
