Uptown Cheapskate Cumming

"I visited the store today to sell my clothes. All were branded (Express American eagle, Hollister etc). I had 2 suit cases full of clothes(casual and party) The staff did not go through the clothes at all. They picked 2 dresses and said that they could buy only them. Their reasoning was they would like to buy clothes that were less than a year old. Surprisingly the store doesn't carry any latest trendy clothes. The most interesting part is they did not buy party wear Long dresses(laced and non sequenced which were purchased last year). When I asked if they saw those dresses, her response was that the buyers stopped buying such dresses. She could have seen them if she scanned through all the clothes. It is indeed waste of time with such impatient staff."

"DO NOT SELL ITEMS AT THIS PLACE! Brought in about 60 items. Some of them were dressier things I understand they may not want but also had polo shirts from Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss, Under Armour and Nike. All in great condition. I opted to donate what they didn’t want. After having to call them back twice to see what was going on I was told they didn’t buy one single item. Seems very odd and feels like a scam. Lesson learned. Should’ve taken it all to a Veteran’s charity and not had to deal with this and the completely incompetent staff at this place!"

"This store used to be great. I am actually coming back to change my review. They never buy anything, and they tell you it's "due to wear and tear", Yet, I've literally purchased items that when I got home I found out had holes in them. They don't contact you when your buy is ready if you drop off. I went to pick up before 8 PM, like they told me and they had lost my entire bag. The girls were very nice, but it was really irritating to have to wait and see the mess of clothes and bags behind the counter as they sifted through them lost. They gave my stuff back all crinkled and smashed into the bag and hanging out of it. The picture is after i trued to put contents back in. These items were folded and nicely fit in the bag when i dropped off. When they handed it to me everything was falling out. They have no respect for your service or the items. I don't care how quickly you're trying to get home, Having respect for other people's things is high on the charts of priority at an establishment like this. They do not thoroughly check what they actually do buy. This store sucks now that it is under new management. I won't be going back after 12 years of being a customer. Plato's closet definitely wins on this one. I got thirty dollars from them after cheapskates denied everything in my bag."

"I absolutely love this store. I’ve shopped there several times and I always walk out with a handful of clothes. Staff are friendly and helpful. Sweet welcome and happy to assist you."
