"I always come to Dahlonega to visit family so I’ve been here many times, most of the time I come with family so we go in. The one time I take a visit with friends the lady outside tells us that there’s a ten-dollar entrance fee for each of us. I was confused and didn’t understand at first because every other time we had been allowed in there. I asked her if this was new and she told us “How do you expect us to make money if none of you are paying.” I turned to my friends and left."

"Don’t bother with this place. The owners are rude and racist and the coffee is atrocious, as detailed in so many other reviews. Go to Canopy + the Roots or Jethro’s if you want good coffee from a good Dahlonega business."

"Somehow my review from 2018 got removed, so I’m happy to leave it again. This business is on the historic square and has items lining the sidewalk. My family of four was walking on the public sidewalk past this business when my two (2) year old Daughter reached out and touched a concrete bird bath that is literally ON THE SIDEWALK. The onslaught of meanness that ensued from the shop owner was impressive. We we’re yelled at, berated, and, ultimately, the cops were called…not by us (the subjects of a verbal tirade) but by the lady who owns the shop. Yes, she called the cops on our two-year-young Daughter and we HAPPILY awaited the Officer’s arrival. In fact, we dedicated the time to wait there until he arrived. After listening to both parties, the Officer suggested that we report this issue to the City as situations like this occur frequently and are a black eye to this community. Were we customers? No. Simply pedestrians on a public sidewalk enjoying a sunny day’s stroll along the historic square of a quaint North Georgian town when we were aggressively pursued as we moved past this shop. Am I bitter? Hmmm…nah, not really…I do embrace forgiveness. But when you see something, say something. I saw something, I’m saying something."

"My fiance and I went up to counter to see menu while waiting for the rest of our family. We didn't see them so we started towards the door and a man I believe who owns the store says to I believe his wife "people are so impatient!". I then told my family what he said and we decided not to give them our business. As I left I made sure I told him I heard him. He then kept saying Starbucks is around the corner. Very rude and I will spread the word."

"Lynn and I visited coffee break and had a great cup of fresh brewed coffee. It is definitely a very unique and unusual place. I would recommend stopping in whenever you’re in Dahlonega. We found some wonderful gifts that are one of a kind, we love them. Jeff was very helpful and friendly. Mom sure would’ve loved the place, God rest her soul."
